The morning shows are so funny listening to people phone in live on air telling their mad funny stories with the djs taking the mick at any given chance which makes it even more hilarious to listen to. Radio 1 vs Capital Advantages: Capital has better DJs. Radio 1 has better music. Disadvantages: Capital has annoying adverts. Radio 1 has some poor DJs. I used to be a big fan of Capital, up until recently. I hear songs on the station and I say to myself 'that's quite good' and I hear it again and I still like it, I hear it for a third time, then a fourth time and then I am constantly hearing it until the words are ingrained in to my skull and I am ready to scream....but then I just switch over to Radio 1 and everything is all right. The presenters on Capital are better than other radio stations ... ...the endless repeats of poor pop songs. More and more I am becoming fond of Radio 1, they play a good selection of music, not just pop. However in the evenings Capital becomes a completely different station. At 10pm, Neil Francis has his show. This is by far the best show on Capital and he plays a better selection of music. Recently Capital has become interested in garage and r'n'b, so if you like this type of music, tune in during the evenings. ... REAL RADIO IS A GREAT STATION, VERY REAL Advantages: COULDNT DO WITH OUT THIS STATION Disadvantages: NONE ...station, its got to be real radio, bit strange recently listening to different dj's but still wouldn't listen to any other station, keep up the good work, all you gals and guys are great, i just phoned brian a wee while ago and he played my request, next. but as i said no way in the car will i listen to a cd, i need my real radio, it keeps me in touch especiallly driving along the ek expressway then the m74 then the m73 to cumbernauld. not exactly ... Rockfm - More of the music you love. Advantages: Great Presenters, cool competitions, local. Disadvantages: Adverts get on my nerves a bit. Hello! Well I have been off this site for a while now but I decided to get back into it. This review is about the station rockfm and is now owned by a group called bauer who own a lot and can pile a lot of money into the station. Which is the primary reason why its so popular. --* The Presenters --* Adam@Breakfast - Im sure if you have listened to rock that you have heard Adam you can catch him Monday to Friday, 6 - 10am with producer Ross and ... ...to have a laugh and do it well on air. People enjoy Adams Lancashire humour and it goes in well. Adam also does 'Adams Sunday Service' on Sundays and if you listen in here you can find out whats been happening in the week on Adam@Breakfast. Key 103 is music to my ears! Advantages: Prizes, music, DJ's Disadvantages: Some adverts can be annoying I have been listening to Key103 for as long as I can remember even right back from when it was Piccadilly radio!! The radio station is on the FM frequency and is based in Manchester but can be heard across Greater Manchester including places such as Bolton. This is the radion station I listen too when I can still get the frequency and am within the area for it. Who is it for? Well the station is aimed at everyone really and is ideal for the younger ... ...jokes or reference to it. The station probably wouldn't suit the much older listener unless they are into modern music although they do do play some classic pop tunes but not any classical or music earlier than the 70's. Music: As mentioned the station plays a variety of music and generally throughout the day will play mainly pop and dance music but have different show times for the various different DJ'' that are employed by the station.
