    Advantages Advantages 100% Air and Water-tight = no spills!

    It can be tricky to work out which things are worth spending money on, and when a budget version is just as good, but if you've ever had salad dressing drip out of a poorly sealed sandwich box, you'll appreciate how much of a false economy cheap plastic containers are. Lock & Lock were the first people to bring 'locking' plastic containers to the market and though they're no longer the only people using this sort of design, they remain the original and best in my opinion.     Advantages Advantages Very good seal, many choices of size and style.

    ~*~Background – or why I chose Lock & Lock~*~ A few years back I got more and more into the idea of utilising the wild food that is available around me locally. Now to do this meant learning to store these things to use through the year – so bottling, drying, freezing etc. One of the biggest things with storing dry products long term is that they need to be kept completely dry so you need containers which will seal easily and well.     When I moved from my old flat to my new flat most of the stuff I already owned came with me ready to be used. I had a load of plastic containers that had brought take aways to my old flat which I used for reheating with and storing bits and bobs in and even used them in the freezer however I decided when I came into a few quid that I would upgrade and actually buy some plastic style containers and these I found on Amazon and I bought a couple of them to see how I got on with them with a view to buying more if they worked out a good quality buy that met my needs.
