Lockets Cranberry and Blueberry Lozenges

Lockets are medicated sweets that are one of my favourites when I have a sore throat, the main reason being that when you get to the middle you get a lovely soothing, runny centre filled with flavour. Lockets are made by the Mars corporation and are sold pretty much everywhere. There are a number of different flavours you can buy these sweets in, from the original honey and lemon flavour to the really nice, sweet like Cranberry and blueberry. My husband and I both recently suffered from a nasty cold. It provided us with the perfect excuse to try a few new types of throat sweets. The Jakemans cherry flavour were quite a hit (reviewed separately). I also picked up a packet of Lockets Cranberry & Blueberry medicated lozenges with menthol and eucalyptus. These lozenges come in a red paper tube which contains 10 sweets. Each sweet is individually wrapped in paper as well. The sweets are quite sticky and do tend to stick to the wrapper. Feeling like I had a bit of sore throat coming on the other week I decided to buy myself a packet of Lockets from the garage after I had filled the car up with petrol. I didn’t look to see which ‘flavour’ I’d bought, I just grabbed the nearest one to me which happened to be cranberry and blueberry.
