Advantages: Pretty cheap (So I've Heard), Good sound quality, Easy to use Disadvantages: Lack of a graphic equalizer, manual somewhat vague
I got this speaker system as a present when I first got my Playstation 2, as they were intended to be used with that. Because of the size of my room at the time, and because of where the TV was, I couldn't put them anywhere where you could get a decent amount of use out of them, so I decided to replace my average quality pc speakers with these, as I played all my music and majority of games which relied on sound through my PC anyway. There's was ... ...plug, and all I needed to make it work was a normal 3.5mm lead with a plug on both ends. I'm still using this speaker system now because, as I'll say many times throughout this review, they produce very high quality sound and are very reliable.

There's was no rewiring involved as my pc used a standard 3.5mm plug, and all I needed to make it work was a normal 3.5mm lead with a plug on both ends. I'm still using this speaker system now because, as I'll say many times throughout this review, they produce very high quality sound and are very reliable.
On the posotive side (from what i remember), these speakers were very easy to set up. From the short time I had them connected to my TV, I remember that they did produce sound of a much higher quality compared with my TV speakers, and the bass knob came in very handy when playing films or games which had emphasis on the sound. The bass which the subwoofer did emit was very noticeable; I normally have the bass knob turned about a quarter qay up, and you can really feel it when It's turned flat out. The only other knob on the speakers is the voume knob, which I only have turned up very slightly, because I sit quite close to my PC, and these speakers do go VERY loud. So there's enough sound given out if you want there to be. As well as this, because there are only two knobs, it makes the system very easy to use, as to turn them on all you do is turn the volume knob up from 0.
On the negative side of things, there is no graphic equalizer included on these, and although I'm running them with my PC (which would hence allow me to change the individual frequency volume before output), it would be useful to have one on the speaker system, although some people might also say this owuld make them more difficult to use, so this could also be put as a slightly posotive point. As well as this (even though I don't know where it is anymore), the manual is slightly vague on how to use the speakers. Even though they are pretty easy to use, someone who has little to no experience with this type of electronics might find it difficult without some sort of reference.
Overall I'd give these speakers 8 out of 10, as you get slightly more than you would expect for the price you paid for them, and the sound quality is great for general use.
Advantages: Loud,Great bass, Can be plugged into lots,Great price Disadvantages: Needs more equalizers, Easier instructions
Absolutely love it. Got it for about £50 which is an absolute bargain.Surround sound from my computer is great as i love music. The bass is so good. Can have really powerfull bass or just soft bass. Advantages: very loud Disadvantages: might get better for the price
I Found the logic 3 soundstation to be a very good bit of kit. Altough it doesnt look special the sound more than makes up for it. It cost me £50 nearly three years ago and since ive had it i havent had any problems with it it produces a very good quality sound. It consists ok two speakers and a sub woofer which is 300 watts. The speakers have there own wire so can use them just on there own but for best results always use in conjuction with thw ... ...dails the larger one being the power and volume the smaller for adjusting the bass. It is compatable with lots of equipment these include the folloeing:
Sony Playstation 2,
Sony playstation ,
Most PCs (so long as you have a speaker port),
mini disc players,
Portable CD players,
Portable DVD players
and MP3 players
i think it is good value for money but you might be able to get better ones for the same price but my overall opinion is that ...

Advantages: Good Bass Disadvantages: No graphic equaliser, single input
To be honest you can do better for your money, the 26 watt output doesn't seem all that great and the satelite speakers have a tendency to rattle and buzz at certain frequencies/volumes. There's no graphic equaliser which would have been nice and although it provies a great bass sound (provided by the 20 Watt woofer), apart from the volume, that's all you have control over. It looks ok but the lightness of the speakers makes it feel a little cheap ...

Advantages: Quite a nice look, pretty nice sound quality, epic bass. Disadvantages: The sound could be better...
I bought this when I first got my big fat PS2 a long time ago - when it first came out... I think. Since then this sound system has just been packed away in a box. So a few days ago I decide I want to dig it out and plug it into my iMac. So I unpack it to find the input wires have a red and white connector - in other words not the one that will go into my computer. So I hop over to Amazon and buy an adapter. When that arrives I set about wiring it ... ...of shape (it had been in a box for ages) but I've found no other problems. So, it all works. The sound quality is pretty good for 2 speakers. And the bass speaker is really hefty (I've been sitting about 35CM from it and my ear hurts after about 2 hours playing Call of Duty). Looks wise it's pretty bulky - in a good way. The two smaller speakers have a large flat side so could easily be stuck to a wall and look really nice. And as for the bass speaker, ...
