Logic Pro 7.0 Complete package

Logic Pro 7.2 in my opinion, is the best music production and recording application on the market today. It has so many features that makes it almost impossible to top. I have used many different music applications, ranging from fruity loops, to reason, to cubase to sonar. I also used them on different operating systems, but I always come back to logic pro 7.2 on the Imac. I produce all my music on this software and find it gives me the creative tools needed to make hit songs. Here are some of the main features:

Apple Loops:
The apple loops are amazing, they are felxible and perfect if you are looking for a quick loop / sample for your production. The apple loops allow you to change key in which the loops are played and also the tempo. 90% of these loops are acidized which is what makes it perfect for a quick fill in on you record / track. I rarely use the apple loops as I am one for creativity, although now and again, if you have a deadline on the way, and your bassist has become sick, or whatever, then thats where the apple loops are perfect. You also have a choice of a variety of genres, such as urban, world, rock, blues and pop. The apple loops come in either audio format or midi. There are also some nice audio orchestral tracks that can be used, either chopped up, looped or just as the are. The only downside is that the orchestral samples are not acidized, so you will have to find the tempo yourself. But overall, the best thing is that all the loops are royalty free!

Audio Instruments:
If you are a pianist, or have some skill in playing the keyboard / piano then the audio instruments are perfect. The amount of sounds are ludacris, and the amount of posiblities that you have to edit the sounds is unreal. You can either make slight changes to the sound you have chosen, or just open up on of the plug in synthesizers, such as the polyphonic synth and make a sound from scratch. If you go into the EXS24 sampler in logic you have a huge amount of sounds, where you can edit the release, attack, glide, pitch, volume, sustain and filter of the particular sound, aswell as more complex settings such as the multiple LFO etc. The exs24 also allows you to make your own audio instrument and spread it across your midi keyboard. You would simply record each individual note from say your guitar, or your bass, cut up each individual note and export them as .wav files. Then load those individual notes in to the exs24 sampler, name the instrument and there you go, the notes will be spread across your keyboard, which will then allow you ti quantize a real bass, if you catch my drift, which you wouldnt be able to do through audio recording, live.

There are much more features in logic pro 7.2 , aswell as the amazing ability to manipulate samples, master entire songs and also automate literally ANYTHING you want. Either by using a midi keyboard or just by a few clicks, but overall I recomend any one serious to music production to purchase logic pro and make full use of the software. I guarentee, even though it may take a while of getting used to, that logic pro is the way to go. You wont look back again, and definetely will understand why all the top recording artists, labels and producers, in the game use logic pro. And if you are still a fan of certain features in say , reason or cubase, then logic has re-wire function which will allow you to run cubase, reason and logic together and record all of the data in to logic. The only problem with the re-wire is that logic is known not to always be able to cope with the all the tasks at hand and my slow down or possible crash, although, unlike any other programs, if logic crashes and shuts down, it has an auto save feature that will automatically save all your progress before it shuts down. So you wont lose a thing!!!!
