It was my oldest son's seventh birthday the other day and, having purchased his main present, I set about buying a few little extra treats for him to open on his big day. Thinking back to last Christmas, I remembered that one of his favourites from his stocking was a box of 'Gelli Baff' and discovering that the range now includes a 'Horrid Henry' themed collection, as well as the original selection, the choice was clear!
The Gelli Baff comprises of two single-use sachets - one which is added to 6cm of warm water in the bath to form the goo and one which is stirred in at the end to dissolve the goo into coloured water. It is straightforward to use and the instructions on the packet are very clear and easy to follow, although 6cm of water isn't a particularly large amount of water at all so be careful not to get too carried away when ...

Advantages: Cheap, Good Value, Simple to setup and contains a variety of easy-to-use features Disadvantages: Nosier than expected but certainly not enough to bother you. Average remote control.
Background:
First and foremost I had never owned DVD recorder before this one so this review is from someone using one for the first time. My freeview box died and I was looking for a new one when I realised for a small amount of money I could add a DVD recording feature or a HDD recorder. After shopping aorund and reading some mixed reviews on Ciao about other makes in this price bracket I found a blinding offer on Logik LDVR78.
Setup:
Literally just plugged it in to the TV via scart and into the wall by plug, turned on the power, pressed menu and then chose installation. Everything else is automatic.
Great I now have Freeview again.
Features:

I Got this television as a christmas present last christmas ever since i got it i have been very happy with it, the picture is excellent. The Television is 26''(66cm), The sound is good, this television has Nicam Stereo Sound. It also has 2 Scart Sockets, Headphone Socket and 2x HDMI, If you are buying your child this television there is a parental control function so your children wont see anything they should'nt be. This Television displays clear, bright images in 16:9 format on its big 26'' LCD screen, Also it has a digital Freeview tuner, so you can watch lots of TV programmes in High Definition. The Cheapest i have seen this television for is £333 Inc. VAT so if you thinking about buying one i suggest you get in there quick before there all gone.
