Satisfactory

it's not clear which resolution images should have to be shown at full screen (16:9) without distortion. If I provide the frame with 480 x 270 images, it make black bands on top and bottom and shrink the image vertically (!?). Different images with different resolution (but standard 4:3 ratio) have different behaviors. Some jpg images are not displayed and "crash the software" bringing into an undocumented files and directory browser showing folders of the usb pen. Need to turn of to go back to normal usage.

Super

I was given this as a present, it seems to be a useful way of displaying digital photos. It need a memory card or flash drive, I am using an old 128MB CF card, about 100 kB files are OK so even a cheap and small card will hold 100s of photos. You can select between 5 second and 24 hrs to display the photo. As the other review noted, the aspect ratio and image size is confusing, I find 480x280 is just about right for wide screen mode. Do not like trailing lead and it is yet another gadget using power unless you turn it off and unplug it.

Good

In response to the other reviews, the native resolution of this screen is a rather odd 480 x 234 pixels. This might help you find the optimal file size. In common with other screens, the picture change rate is VERY slow (approx 15 seconds minimum) if you store full camera resolution pictures on the card for display. Suggest you reduce them to 480 x 320 (or 234) using eg Windows PowerToys Image Resizer - free fom Microsoft. This also allows you to fit 100x more photos on your card (or use an old small card in the screen). Considering the low resolution for screen size, pictures actually look quite good. Worth £30, esp if you don't want sound.
