Logitech 970285-0120 X-240 2.1

...for some nice bass. The logitech x240 was my first choice, and i decided upod looking at various reviews and videos that they would do the job just nicely for the price i was going to pay.

I have to say they do there job very well; whilst playing games, watching films or listening to music they provide very good quality that speakers which are more expensive cannot compare to. They have very nice bass and the satelite speakers are great ...
...that is connected to the logitech volume adjuster, it acts as a cvradle for an ipod which can be plugged into a 9mm jack and played like an ordinary ipod dock, which is a very good feature and i found these speakers as a much better replacement to my current ipod dock, which actually cost more than the logitech speakers.

After suffering from my current monitor speakers for too long, i decided it was time to purchase a set of 2.1 speakers with a subwoofer for some nice bass. The logitech x240 was my first choice, and i decided upod looking at various reviews and videos that they would do the job just nicely for the price i was going to pay.

I have to say they do there job very well; whilst playing games, watching films or listening to music they provide very good quality that speakers which are more expensive cannot compare to. They have very nice bass and the satelite speakers are great quality, sometimes however the bass can drown out the satelite speakers and you have to adjust the bass as a result of this, but i found out with time that simply keeping the bass around 3/4 is just fine.

The only other thing is that when you turn the volume to very high amounts they start to distort and start to crackle, however it had to be on very high and many speakers do this when they get to a certain volume, so it is quite a common problem.

Another thing i liked about the speakers is the ipod dock that is connected to the logitech volume adjuster, it acts as a cvradle for an ipod which can be plugged into a 9mm jack and played like an ordinary ipod dock, which is a very good feature and i found these speakers as a much better replacement to my current ipod dock, which actually cost more than the logitech speakers.

All in all i like the speakers a lot, they are great quality to a certain extent and they have the added feature of ipod compatability, the only downside is the, sometimes, loud bass and also how the speakers distort on huge volumes, but i feel that i will never need the volume that high anyway so they are well worth the money
