...It seems Logitech's goal is to make all there products rumble and be the first to do it!
I orginally bought this pad because I have the logitech force feedback joystick and it works like a dream.
But, this product fails to satisfy me at all. The product is ugly looking but has quite good fuctionality. The thumb pads are well-designed and all the right hand buttons fall nicely under the thumb. The top buttons are also accompanied by a throttle bar, which, although it wasn't supported on any games on my pc. It would be very handy for future games, potentially. The pad supports analogue controls which are increasingly in need for platform games which are becoming more involving.
The pad itself is okay; the rumbling is more on the side of vibrating. It is quite similar to the playstations dual shock pad.

Advantages: Superb build quality and design Disadvantages: none
...I bought one of these originally to play Pro Evolution Soccer with, and it was so good that i was harranged into buying another one by all the people who wanted to play. The build quality is stunning and i have yet to have any sort of problem with the pads. The buttons are responsive, and the analogue works well. The vibration worked well when i tried it in Combat Flight Sim. The pads are great value for money if you look around, i found them for 8 quid plus delivery online, which is stunning seeings as they retail for about 25 quid on logitechs website. The pads are strong enough to survive my use, which involves falling off desk, getting stood on etc, so they are pretty sturdy,. There are 10 buttons if you include the two middle buttons, then 2 more buttons which are used to swap the d and analogue mappings around and then to test...

Advantages: Good With Logitech Mouses and Razers / Low Friction Disadvantages: N/A
...The Steelpad S&S is a very high quality gamingpad which i find very good. I use a Logitech MX510 and it works outstandingly and i find it very comfotable to use while gaming and browsing. I would recommend this mat for any serious or average gamer. If you just use your computer for browsing the net it would be a worthless buy. If you use a computer for designing logos etc. or using Pro Desktop or simular programs i would recommend it for precision work. The pad is very secure and does not move if you use your mouse heavily, this is because of the sticky material underneath the mat which is very good and makes gaming and designing comfortable and easy....

I saw a nest of these in PC world for under £20 so decided to gie it a... more
Although there have been previous versions of this Belkin pad, it only has one competitor that I'm aware of: the Saitek Pro-Gamer Command Unit.
I bought the Belkin product first, and loved it. Lured by the fancy lights, and my good experience with... more
