I got this camera for my birthday in 2002. At the time, digital cameras were only just comming out, and so you didnt get that many with colour LCD screens.
I think my dad mensioned to someone that it was in the £80-£100 region, but it is probably a lot lower today.
Mine at the time was quite a good one, managing to take very high resolution pictures and being able to act as a webcam.
The webcamera can take up to 486 pictures in low resolution, and over 200 in high resolution. The video can be up to a couple of minutes, but they take up most of the memory on the webcam.
What impressed me the most was when I first plugged it in, and on screen was a very clear picture of me! The colours were right, the quality was right and the size was good! This was certainly better than Labtec webcams!
The logitech logo on the front is acrually a quick sync button. You can either use this or program your computer to automatically download pictures whenever you connect the camea to your PC.
Quick sync is useful because the pictures were instantly downloaded and it even played a so und to show when it started or stopped!
It has a built in flash, which I have tested on a few occasions. The flash manages to catch things quite well, and it made a lovely picture of our dog on the laminate floor! The only problem is sometimes it consumes alot of battery power when using flash.
Another feature I was introduced to this year was that when the light it too low, it makes a sound.
Overall, it is a good camera, probably a bit bulky and "old" by todays standards of digital cameras, but ahead in its time!
