A Reliable and Inexpensive Wireless Set.
Advantages: Looks aesthetically pleasing, very robust, cheap, Wireless, BLACK. Disadvantages: Mouse is a Drain, hard mouse.

This wireless set is still functioning pretty much the same since the day I got it. Both the keyboard and Mouse are constructed to be pretty tough and look very good especially if have a dark colored PC to go next to.
Into more detail: The Keyboard and Mouse are pretty much constructed of the ... ...pretty hard, black colored, grained plastic.
The thing that sticks out for the Keyboard & Mouse is the aesthetically pleasing shiny plastic lining at the top of them, you can see this from looking at the photograph.
Another win for the set would be the various media buttons, dotted along the left and upper hand side of the Keyboard. They are pretty nice to the touch and are colored silvered, which compliments the style.

-THE POSITIVE-
I brought this Wireless Keyboard and Mouse set quite some time ago (1-2 yrs actually) and at the time it was priced at around about £15-£25, pretty much the same as it is today.

This wireless set is still functioning pretty much the same since the day I got it. Both the keyboard and Mouse are constructed to be pretty tough and look very good especially if have a dark colored PC to go next to.
Into more detail: The Keyboard and Mouse are pretty much constructed of the same stuff. Most of the keyboard is made up of pretty hard, black colored, grained plastic. The thing that sticks out for the Keyboard & Mouse is the aesthetically pleasing shiny plastic lining at the top of them, you can see this from looking at the photograph. The mouse feels pretty hard and well constructed & has no rubber ball , which increases its precision. When I first used it was very sensitive to the movement of my hand but this can be adjusted on the computer.
-THE NEGATIVE-
The Mouse, I think is the biggest problem. Unlike the keyboard which uses 2 AAA batteries, the mouse on the other hand uses 2AA batteries. It tends waste energy within a week, while the keyboard takes MONTHS to drain the batteries (and there smaller!). This is quite problematic if don't have any rechargeable batteries on hand.
The mouse also seems a bit hard because its made out of the same stuff as the keyboard but at this price it would be expected. Though that isn't a big problem. -MY VIEW- I think this is a great cheap Wireless Set. If your looking for something to carry around the room and if you have a set of rechargeable AA batteries for the Mouse, I would recommend this to you.
Overall it functions very well, and is very aesthetically pleasing.
Advantages: Easy to install and use Disadvantages: Hasn't got all the features around these days

...The good news is that Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110 is the good guy, not the villain of the piece. I've been building a Media Centre PC, i.e. using a 'freebie' desktop base unit that I'd come by for services rendered* as the donor system, hiding it behind my Panasonic panel TV. (*Don't even ask) Why? Well partly just because 'I can' and know how to, and partly because, now equipped with a TV capable of acting as a PC monitor, either via its HDMI ... ...Tesco's that I spotted the Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 110 selling for a very reasonable £19.95. This is just about the lowest price you'll find. Some on-line dealers charge less but then sting you with the p&p. The only major difference (apart from hopefully working properly!) was the fact that it was a tad less stylish, and sported a separate optical mouse, not a built-in mouse-pad. Advantages: keys have a nice feel to them Disadvantages: mouse goes through loads of batteries
...but its also my first logitech keyboard and mouse.
I love how the keys feel when I type and all the shortcut buttons are well located. I did not install the software that came with it as 90% of the shortcuts work without the software (only the Function keys don't), and that's enough for me. However it looks relatively simple to install.
The mouse buttons are acceptable. However, the mouse scroll wheel sounds like a carnival prize wheel. It clatters ... ...the mouse lid, take out the batteries and unscrew the two two visible screws. Pull the top portion of the mouse case back. It will come lose, but it is still attached by a couple of wires to the base. Turn it 90 degrees so you have access to the wheel. Pull the wheel mount out of its socket. Be careful not to loose any pieces. Pull the wheel off of its mount. Take the small piece of metal that was jutting into the wheel, and bend it down slightly ...

Advantages: Works well, looks nice and is small and compact Disadvantages: Can interfere with other wireless keyboards/mouse nearby.
I bought this wireless keyboard/mouse set when I got my laptop back in March 2008. I wanted to spare my laptop keys and mousepad as much as I could so this seemed like the best option.
I haven't really have any worries with it apart from times when my boyfriend is using his microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse next to mine for his laptop and they can sometimes interfere with eachother. It's not that noticable though so it is only a small issue ... ...keys, nice and paddy to the touch. Easy to type with and looks good too, being black and sleek. It hasn't got unnecessary bulk around it which I noticed that quite a few others have, so it is good for tucking away when it's not in use or for transporting, I have taking it out with me and my laptop with ease before.
The mouse again is black, easy to use and has a nice rubbery-like scroll button in the middle which is also splendid to use. It is a ...
