I was firstly just looking around for a laser mouse as my cordless keyboard I had was still in good condition but the mouse was on it's last legs and was eating batteries.
On doing my research I found that pricewise it was better value for money to purchase the complete desktop set which included a laser mouse.
I have always been a fan of Logitech and have used their products over the years without any problems.
This latest product is without doubt one of my better purchases.

Keyboard and mouse connect straight from the box but if you want to use all the many features, you would be wise to install the enclosed software.
First let me state some of the many features available for the keyboard.
Using Logitech software you can programme the keyboard hotkeys to do whatever your needs may be.
You can even programme the F keys to connect to your favourite programmes or websites.
Of the many features I like is the zoom button on the keyboard and I use it a lot when surfing or viewing pictures from my HD.
Keyboard comes with a detachable palm rest which I prefer not to use but some might find it a benefit.
The laser mouse is one of the most comfortable and positive mice I have ever used.
It too has the zoom feature on the left hand side just above where your thumb rests.
It has a tilt and scroll button on the top which allows you to do normal scrolling from side to side which is good if you are working on large spreadsheets.
There is a led light which lights when you are needing to replace the batteries and Logitech states that you should get 6 months use from one set of AA batteries. I haven't had it long enough to dispute this but one good thing is that after the led lights up, it states you have around 10 days to replace batteries so you are not left without the use of your mouse.
I would recommend this keyboard and mouse for it's reliability and ease of use.
My one complaint if you could call it that is that the software supplied was well out of date but I got the latest software on Logitech support which I found more compatible.
Advantages: Laser Mouse, Cordless, Shortcut buttons Disadvantages: Battery life does not appear to be as long as stated
After previously owning a logitech corded mouse and keyboard i was very keen to continue with the Logitech brand as my previous model was very reliable and looked brilliant.
In operation the keyboard is similar to others in the Logitech but it has several features which not only make it easier to use but also more comfortable. There are more shortcut buttons than you could use making navigation to files and other programmes such as your e-mail account ... ...on the keyboard including volume and play/ pause buttons, meaning that you can control your music without having the programme open. The final feature of the keyboard is that it has 'Zero-Degree Tilt' which means that none of the buttons are raised making typing much easier and more comfortable.
I believe that the mouse is the most impressive part having state-of-the-art laser technology which means that it can be used on nearly any surface unlike ...

Advantages: Obvious freedom, nice design, comfertable mouse Disadvantages: Little pricey
...use my computer, obviously the Logitech Cordless Desktop Keyboard & Mouse is an adiqute solution to this problem, or so you would think. Now don't get me wrong I have nothin against the keyboard and mouse it's self because together they are great, the mouse is extreamly comfertable and quite durable, and the keybored is very easy to get used to and features a ton of short-cut buttons to help you navigate your way around our PC. The design is beautiful ... ...little steep, considering what you can get for a fraction of the price in local stores around about now, BUT, the Logitech Cordless Desktop Keyboard has everything you need for comfert, freedom and time cutting.
Would I reccomend this product? .......No, IF you can't find a suited deal around. ...
