I brought this product after my previous logitech wirless keyborad had given up after 3 years of constant use. At first i refused to pay for a new wireless keyboard after seeing the cost of them (my old one had been brought for me with my dell pc). I'll just use a wired keyboard that we had in the house, well i lasted about 2 weeks! While out on a sunday afternoon, i eventually parted with some money for LX710 keyboard and mouse. It was on offer for £29.99. When i got home i took them out of the packaging and knew straight away that i had made the right decision. It was so much lighter than my old set. I plugged in the usb receiver which is so small you hardly notice it. I put the provided batteries in, this was a bonus in its self and they were not just cheap ones either. I presses the connect buttons and i was off. I did out the CD in to take advantage of the extra buttons, i had never really used them on my old set but this one i constanly use them. There are buttons on the edge of the keyboard, which can be used for zooming in and out of pictures. The other side is for music. The keyboard itself is a joy to use, its so lovely to type with. The only bad thing i can say is the keys on the side of the keyboard are usually pressed by accident when moving the keyboard around but its not a mange problem. The mouse has two little buttons just below the wheel which can be used for going back and forward. which is great when using the internet. Also if you press the wheel it brings up the same menu for switching between windows as if you had pressed control and tab on the keyboard. I thought i would miss the charging unit for my old mouse but i have just got into the habbit of turning this one off. The new white laser mouse means that it also saves on battery power.
Over all i wouldd definately recomend this keyboard and mouse set.
A good review, I've given you a helpful as it would have been good to put a little more about the mouse and the shape and size of the keyboard as well as the ease of the installation from the CD and what is provided in the box. I was teetering on a very helpful as I can't see that there's really a lot to write about a keyboard and mouse, if you make any changes drop me a line, I'd be happy to have another look. Sian xxx
