I purchased this microphone from Amazon about 3 weeks ago.
I was suprised at how simple it was to set up, I literally plugger it in, pressed intall and within minutes it was ready to use! No hassle at all.
I had trouble with my last mic with the volume going up and down if I made a loud noise, but no trouble with this at all!
The handy mute button has come in very useful, it doesn't cause volume level to be disturbed afterwards either.
The cable is long enough to put the mic at a reasonable distance away, and It picks up from a great distance too!
Its got a nice design, its not too bulky and it modern looking.

I got this microphone recently. My old Creative Labs microphone broke awhile ago. I primarily use this microphone for gaming. I use this usually when i play Counter-Strike. This microphone is clear and works well. Installation was a breeze and was quick.
I have to admit this is the best product that i've purchased in months. Most of the products i purchase I'm not happy with. I have to say i was quite pleased with this one. The reason why i went with logitech is because i've owned logitech products in the past. I've owned a logitech mouse and keyboard which i've been using for years. To this date, The keyboard and move still work. That proves logitech has quality in their products. They last long without breaking like other companies out there. A very fine computer microphone that has lasted me seven years so far with no issues of compatibility, control, volume or quality. It is light, with a very sleek design.
The microphone stick itself can be detached from its base and used as a hand held device but whilst it can be entirely dismantled with ease (so that it is just a mic on the end of a wire,) the stick itself is solid and cannot be manipulated, so should the user wish to physically attach it to their computer, they would probably find it necessary to manoevre themselves so that they are speaking directly into it, as well as using the provided pad for doing so,. -- Due to its lack of malleability, and absence of an earphone, it is not possible to use this product as a headset.
