Fantastic headset, comfortable and easy to use
Advantages: Lightweight, Cool ears!! Disadvantages: Not adjustable - but I didn't need to!
...and I already have a logitech trackman optical mouse which has done me proud for many, many years so I was keen to purcahse from the same manufacturer.
I've read the reviews here and at other sites, and I have to say that all the negative comments that I have seen were not the case when I received my headset and started playing with it. Setting the microphone up couldn't have been simpler - plug in the appropriate holes, fire up whatever ... ...etc) and go!
At first glance the headset looks a bit odd, I have to admit, but once I put it on it felt very comfortable and it looks fine - in fact it's really quite stylish!
The ear cushions are a nice soft black leather which is quite nice against the skin, and they do not feel particularly heavy on the ears.
If you wear specs I have found it is more comfortable to have them slightly above the headset, ... more

I've read the reviews here and at other sites, and I have to say that all the negative comments that I have seen were not the case when I received my headset and started playing with it. Setting the microphone up couldn't have been simpler - plug in the appropriate holes, fire up whatever programme you want to use (for example, skype, google chat, etc) and go!
At first glance the headset looks a bit odd, I have to admit, but once I put it on it felt very comfortable and it looks fine - in fact it's really quite stylish!
The ear cushions are a nice soft black leather which is quite nice against the skin, and they do not feel particularly heavy on the ears.
If you wear specs I have found it is more comfortable to have them slightly above the headset, as if you are wearing it for a long time - say 4-5 hours of gaming - it can be a little uncomfortable where the headset is resting on the ear.
The headset is designed to have the mic on the right hand side (inconvenient if your computer is to the left!) and although it might be possible to have it on the left I don't think it'd be particularly comfortable.
In terms of performance, I was completely impressed. Transatlantic phone calls over skype were crystal clear at both ends, my friend could hear me easily and the sound quality is brilliant. Unlike some microphones, you don't have to have it right in front of your mouth so you can easily have a drink etc while using the mic.
The in-line volume controller is really handy, although you don't have specific grading of volume increase/decrease (e.g. a numerical slide) as it is a rotating disk which you turn one way to increase the volume and the other way to decrease. This can easily be done with one finger leaving you free to game on!
I don't especially like the clip as it is not a "peg" type of clip with a spring, its simply a plastic bit which you slide onto your clothing. Perfect for clipping onto shirt pockets, but can be a bit of a pain on shiney fabric - again only a minor problem!
You might encounter a problem if your microphone and headphone sockets are far apart as there is only about 5cm of cable for each before you meet the strain protector. This can be resolved of course by using an extending cable and should not normally be a problem as they are often close together.
In terms of noise reduction, I was really suprised. I expected with the open ear design that there would be loads of background noise, and although there is minimal noise it is mostly cancelled out.
Finally, don't fret, as the band does not touch the back of your head at all (unless you have quite a large head) you won't get the annoyance of a random crimp line across your beautifully styled trusses! Bargain!

...headset). Just like all other logitech headsets in the range the quality of sound is fantastic, and it doesn't distort with higher volumes although after a while it may start to go faulty like mine did (but I did have it for some time and repaired it about 3 times).
It has an in-line volume control block (as seen in the picture) which consists of an inner circle to control the volume, and a small switch on the side to mute or unmute the built-in ... ...when you want to change the volume/microphone settings quickly.
Ergonomically this headset is pretty damn cool, although I found it to be a little loose fitting on the head with no form of adjustment available which was a bit of a bummer to say the least. However, what this lacks in ability to grip your head it sure makes up for comfort and ability to deliver sound. The headset allows your ears to fit snugly into the perfectly designed earpieces ...

...red ears. Its a shame Logitech don't give the option for adjustments to this headset.
The other problem for me is my ears fit in the gaps between the earphone and the headset, this makes your ears stick out and hurt to after a while.
The postitve notes are exceptional sound quality, and the microphone is clear, although the mike position needs to be fiddled with a lot.
If I knew of these problems before I would not have bought this item.
