Here we have another excellent product by logitech, although I wouldn't say it was the best.
Quality-wise this product is excellent for both sound output and microphone input with noise cancellation, perfect for gamers (hence it being a gamers headset). Just like all other logitech headsets in the range the quality of sound is fantastic, and it doesn't distort with higher volumes although after a while it may start to go faulty like mine did (but I did have it for some time and repaired it about 3 times). It has an in-line volume control block (as seen in the picture) which consists of an inner circle to control the volume, and a small switch on the side to mute or unmute the built-in microphone. This is very simple to use and excellent for when you want to change the volume/microphone settings quickly.
Ergonomically this headset is pretty damn cool, although I found it to be a little loose fitting on the head with no form of adjustment available which was a bit of a bummer to say the least. However, what this lacks in ability to grip your head it sure makes up for comfort and ability to deliver sound. The headset allows your ears to fit snugly into the perfectly designed earpieces with the supporting bar being located at the back of your head. This ensures all the sound is delivered straight to your ears and cancels any background noise, perfect for listening to music or playing online games! The other benefit of this design is it prevents your ears getting hot like most other headsets do due to its open-air style where the tips of your ears can "vent" off heat so to speak. However, I have to say the entire headset is rather bulky on appearance but this isn't at all a bad thing (to me anyway) since its the quality of sound that matters. I also wouldn't recommend wearing glasses with this headset because after a wile it starts to push the frame into your head, and this became very uncomfortable for me. The microphone is adjustable in the sense you can move it out of the way when not in use which is useful. It cannot be adjusted to move closer/further away from your mouth but this isn't a problem since the pre-designed setting is fine the way it is.
Here is my low-down of the good and the bas points:Good --------
Very comfortable (unless wearing glasses)
Very "airy" design which keeps your head cool
Superb quality speakers and microphone with noise cancelling
In-line volume control with microphone mute button included
Bad ------
Loose fitting without the ability to adjust it
Microphone can't be adjusted apart from a 360 degrees motion
Fairly large
Overall this is an excellent product that I would seriously consider purchasing if you're after a low-priced, excellent quality gamers headset without sacrificing comfort etc.
