...Overview : The logitech dual action gamepad is a cheap an honest USB gamepad, suitable for most PC games. I have owned one since august 2006 originally purchased from argos for £19.99.
The controller consists of 11 buttons, a multidirection pad and 2 joysticks.

Advantages: feels like a ps2 controller, confortable grip, lots of buttons Disadvantages: cost as much as a ps2 controller, calibration bugs
...For anyone who read my review on this controller a while back, I take back every nice things I ever said about this gamepad from Logitech. Initially, I said I brought this gamepad because it bear a resemblance to a playstation 2 gamepad and I still believes it does resembles a playstation 2 gamepad (remember I said RESEMBLES) but it’ll never perfect the real thing.

I brought this Logitech dual action gamepad in my local Argos for £19.99. It was one of the most expensive gamepad ever brought, if you think long enough you would realise it cost as much as a playstation 2 gamepad. I am...

Advantages: Good design, not too expensive, simple installation. Disadvantages: Force feedback doesn't work properly, only average battery life.

Stylistically it resembles a slightly more chunky PS2 controller but as that was so well designed to fit in the hand that is no bad thing. I haven't looked but I wouldn't be surprised to find an almost identical pad available as an aftermarket PS2 controller just with square circle triangle and cross on the four main action buttons.
Installation is relatively straightforward. The device is class compliant so you can just plug it into a USB port and it will work as a joypad. There is also a driver CD which allows you to configure the button configuration for specific games, but to be honest I don't bother with that. In use the pad is responsive and the controls all fall under the fingers nicely. There is a mode button which you...
