Logitech's G9 Laser Mouse, is in my opinion, a beauty to behold. An attractice, compact design with interchangable grips makes it a comfortable, easy mouse to work with.
It has a very precise touch with a DPI range of 200 to 3200, suiting a casual browser to a hardcore gamer. An interesting feature of the mouse is that it can hold variable weight, contained in it's base. Adding as much as 28g to the total weight of the mouse. The mouse comes packaged with four 4g weights and four 7g weights, so that the user can find his own comfortable weight to use.
Logitech pulled out all the stops while designing the mouse, and included a nice addition of on-the-fly DPI switching, ever useful to the FPS gamer, with a total of four settings at hand to the user, all of which are customisable to a specific DPI gives the mouse great versatility and makes it ideal for a family mouse.
The G9 also includes on-board memory, so no matter where you take the mouse, no matter what laptop or desktop, the DPI settings will forever remain the same.
One last gimmick worth mentioning is that the DPI lights located on the mouse are actually changable in a light blue-to-deep-red spectrum. Although it does serve no specific reason, it can assisst colour co-ordination at your desktop!

All in all, a fantastic mouse with a high DPI for gamers, simple to use, plugs right into a USB port with no installation required. Highly recommended.
