I dislike my keyboard for my laptop because I just always seem to use my arm on other keys and some of the letters never get pressed on time and it leads me wanting a new keyboard.

A few days ago whilst on a website for a leading electronics store they had this logitech media keyboard 600 which was originally £15 down to £4.99 and I reserved the product and picked it up.

The first thing is that Logitech is a big brand in terms of computer items whether a keyboard or a mouse they offer a great range of items and I have never had an issue with them or there products before.

The keyboard is a nice piano style black which looks trendy and very modern and it is so light in weight I was astonished by how thin it was. On the box it would appear the keyboard was kind of bulky and heavy and with the company being Logitech if it was heavy you would assume it was down to all the buttons it had adding extra weight but this is not the case at all.

The keyboard is 30x53x11 cm and there is a nice glossy finish which just makes it look nice and cool to look at.

There is plenty to look at and wonder what the buttons do and the first part of this would be the original keyboard buttons we all know and see and these are soft touch keys so when you tap them down they are so light and they are easy to touch so it means you can type quicker and less sound vibrating as well.

There is a media section at the top the grey round button is actually not a button but a volume control and you spin it one direction and the volume will go up and the opposite direction the volume decreases. The buttons at the top can control the internet pages and media settings.

These buttons are useful because it can assist you in making commands to the computer without always using the mouse which can get on people's nerves, especially mine all the time. These media buttons are the top are more solid and tougher compared to the letters key on the keyboard.
You can pause live videos online and the other buttons you might want to see the manual for which is included inside the pack.

You are given a disc to load onto the computer which installs the drivers to make this product work but this is completely not needed as the item is a plug and play so the USB connection at the end is inserted into the computer or laptop and it begins to work instantly so the disc is there just incase.

This is a wired keyboard and not wireless as some people think it might be so I need to stress that point and the keyboard is done in an external form (not sure what this means). They say you need to have Windows Vista or Windows XP for this to work but I have Windows 7 and it works fine on there.

I like how easy the buttons are to touch, how easy the setup was and how thin and lightweight the item is. I think because the keyboard looks stylish it made me want it and the fantastic price as well which is just amazing.

Most older keyboards are kind of ugly to the eye and they offer very little when it comes to speed and sometimes over a period of time they begin to lose that speed and the buttons begin to get stiff as well. With this keyboard I do not see that happening.

I think there is a 3 year warranty included there was with mine and you can even press one button and have your favourite applications pop up on screen as well. It is a great keyboard by a great brand name and a good price but be warned this can be found for more then £15 in some locations
