This keyboard incorporates a 'Zero-degree tilt' which is an ergonomically designed method of helping PC users to avoid such debilitating conditions as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and repetitive strain injury. Although, for the past thirty five years I'd been in the Health Care profession, the last couple of years I've been a student. I spend a copious amount of time on the PC due to coursework and shhh don't tell the tutor, reading/rating/writing! I had to invest in this practically constructed keyboard due to the pain I was developing in my wrist whilst typing; due to poor posture and unsatisfactory console.

With the keyboard being flat, I do not feel my wrist are being obliged into an ascending position, avoiding the upward angle of the wrist hand movements being bent in order to type. Now, when I type, it feels more natural, and although I weary through excessive use, I do not suffer discomfort through incorrect positioning of the keyboard's component. This apparatus is suitable for anyone that uses a PC as the old proverb wisely notes, "Prevention is better than cure".

The keys are horizontal, even and smooth, affording a light tapping that makes it easy to glide from key to key without needing to push down hard on the tabs. The planate sleek design makes operating this keyboard an absolute pleasure, an effortless employment of soft keys makes light work of writing.

This Logitech tool is smooth to the touch, slim and flat. The implement has a sleek shiny black strip that surrounds the sides of the keys meeting at a contemporary curvature at the top. There are ten silver keys that adorn the top level of the gadget and two larger silver keys on the left hand side. With thirteen symbol keys in a neat vivid blue located underneath these, the tool gives a quality appeal. All other QWERTY composed keys are in black with sharp white lettering.

The instrument incorporates a Button Function for applications launch, e-mail Internet browsing, programmable, multimedia, video access music, volume, and calculator. Although these are attractive practical features, I tend to have an array of windows open already; due to the constant switching I need to do for my course work. My son has had to up-grade the memory on my PC! But, to the dismay of my son, he insisted on showing me how brilliant these additional features are, hoping I'd adopt usage of them! But, it would be easier to adapt to the simplicity of the easily programmable keys to open my favourite applications, files or sites .Recalling the other proverb here of, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink"! For the volume control I use a separate attachment adjoined to my speakers for this application.
