A Little Gem
Advantages: Small, Easy to use, doesnt need cleaning Disadvantages: None
...me, until I purchased a Logitech (upon recomendation from a friend) optical mini-mouse - and I fell in love again.
Optical mouses work with a laser inside that senses when the mouse is been moved. Stuff doesnt get stuck inside as it reads through a glass filter, and there is no real need for a mouse matt as the surface doesnt need to be smooth really.
Logitech are a manufacturer that make a heck of a lot of PC peripherals. ... ...and of course mice. Their designs are always top notch and the mini-mouse is no exception. It is that creamy/white colour that almost all keyboards/monitors are so it matches them well, it is smooth and fits great in the palm of your hand perfectly. The left button is perfectly places for your index finger, and the right button just right for your ring finger. Your middle finger can be used on the scroll wheel which is generally used in place of ... more
Only a few years ago, people using computers had to navigate with rollerball mouses which require a ball inside to rub sensors and direct your on-screen arrow. This was all well and good, but in my experience rollerball mouses were rubbish. They always got hairs, fluff and dust caught in the mechanism and made it move poorly and not very responsively.
Then, one day, saw the light and purchased an optical mouse. I got it for about £22 at my local electrical store, and I loved it. It was one of those without a brand logo on, it was quite cheaply made and the paint came off it, but it worked much better that any mouse I had used before. However it was cheap and eventually broke. It was a sad day for me, until I purchased a Logitech (upon recomendation from a friend) optical mini-mouse - and I fell in love again.

Logitech are a manufacturer that make a heck of a lot of PC peripherals. Over the years I have owned Logitech speakers, keyboard, joysticks, and of course mice. Their designs are always top notch and the mini-mouse is no exception. It is that creamy/white colour that almost all keyboards/monitors are so it matches them well, it is smooth and fits great in the palm of your hand perfectly. The mouse uses a Ps/2 connection (do not confuse this with Playstation 2, they are nothing to do with each other!) which means, if you're running Windows Xp you can simply plug the mouse in, detect the hardware with your device manager, and use it straight away. No disks are needed in the setup, unless you are using an inferior operating system to Xp.
The responsiveness of the mouse is top class, and doesnt fade after time like rollerball mouses. I think it is better than cordless mice too as their responsiveness deteriorates with the battery power, so optical mice are top of the pile for responsiveness. If you do seem to suffer loss of response you can blow into the laser sensor as sometimes a piece of dust can get lodged in the 'eye' and make it less sensitive to movements.
The mouse is very robust, I've dropped mine a few times and it still works a treat. Those with big hands and small hands alike will be able to get to grips with the mouse fine. It is a gem to use and will last a heck of a long time. At just £15 the mouse, if you have it for one year, costs just 0.04p per day, or 2.8 pence per week. Now that is what I call getting your moneys worth. My mouse is currently still going strong after a lot of heavy duty use. I find it perfect for making animations using Macromedia Flash (which you need a steady hand and responsive mouse for doing).
I will conclude by telling you this is the best mouse I have ever had the pleasure of owning.
Advantages: Optical interface, Scroll Wheel, Web Wheel, Ease of use, comfortable, easy installation, Less cost (£11), Good build quality. Disadvantages: Looks
...I earlier had a Logitech ball mouse that was a tough nut to crack. Man!! The trouble I had with clicking & scrolling in that ball mouse. Then I complained to my dad to buy me another rodent. WHAM!!!! & here’s Jerry the optical mouse by Logitech , “DAD SENT” 2 solve my problems. Smooth browsing has always been one of jerry’s main objectives. ***COMFORT. [4/5]***
Though jerry is good at his job its not a “Ride in a Rolls ... ...is bland with just a Logitech logo & a gray mouse wheel & the rest is white. Little more styling could add to the Zing!!.
***FEATURES. [4/5]***
Other than the standard features, Logitech supplied an add-on called the ‘Webwheel’. It is a small icon like thing that is embedded into the browser that helps in navigation using the mouse wheel. The Webwheel is a circular icon with the – Stop, Refresh, Home, Back, Forward and such browser ...

Logitech Mini Optical Mouse - Is one of the good Logitech product that I like. I have been using this mouse from 6 months - It is a good mouse as compare to BALL Mouse. Light weight as well. But after a few month its left click was stop working.. I don't know what si the reason but it not just happened to me but with my frined as well.
Other then that, there is no problem at all. My all friends are using it in the office.. and working fine.
I recommand ... ...and not having any fear - not working the mouse port.

Advantages: Great value and reliable Disadvantages: Middle button a bit hard to push down (seriously that's the worst thing!)
This mouse is a great buy for anyone whether you are new to computers or fairly experienced. It is roughly 30% smaller than regular mice.
This cheap but incredibly reliable optical mouse has never faultered and will work on any opaque surface such as a desk, a cushion, your arm - anything!
This mouse is simple to use and unlike mice which use balls to detect direction, it is all done with optical technology so no more cleaning out the mouse every ... ...and will fit in with any computer and has a cool light that lights up when you move it. This mouse is very comfortable in the hand whether you are right or left-handed and includes a useful middle wheel button for easy scrolling and double-clicking.
Definitely worth getting if you're considering buying a new mouse! ...

he 'Special One' has taken a hard line against rebel players as he does everything strictly by the book at San Siro.
Adriano and Julio Cruz are already treading a very thin line with their coach who has punished them by leaving both players out of the Fiorentina match on Wednesday night.
Moratti believes the former Chelsea man is right to punish those who fail the show the right attitude towards the rest of the club.
"Mourinho has chosen to take ... ...the right choice," Moratti told StadioNews.it
"Now we will see if his choice will bring the results that everyone expects.
"Cruz? He is a player like everyone else."
The chief then spoke about the drab 0-0 draw with Fiorentina but he believes there is no need to worry despite the club dropping another two points.
"I saw the game against Fiorentina and we did very well," said Moratti.
"We are going through a great moment and there is no reason ...

Couldn't live without it
I use this with my laptop and I've got to say, I've never been let down by it.
It's really light, and just seems to glide around, giving you perfect control over what you are doing on the screen and great reponse.
It's small enough to just pop into your laptop bag and carry with you, as it is so strong and durable feeling. It also looks really stylish and well-designed.
The USB connector is not one of the smallest I've seen, but it is pretty durable and will still link up with the mouse, even at quite a distance. It can be easily stored, as it just clips onto the bottom of the mouse, which can also be used as a power saving option, as the mouse automatically shuts off when the USB is stored in place.
The battery life is a key component to any cordless mouse, and I feel the Logitech really ...
