...For a good while I've been searching for the ideal mobile phone replacement. My current, (yet now replaced), Samsung D600 had more than served its purpose over the last 16 months or so and with myself being someone who enjoys getting a hold of the latest technology the MDA Vario II seemed an ideal choice....
... so I bought one!
Beforehand I had a Pocket PC of my own; an HP iPaq 2210 which ran Windows Mobile 2003 Premium Edition. The main purpose for wanting one of these was so I could have a computer with me at all times; whether I needed to write a quick document, compose an email, make a note of an appointment in my calendar or perhaps maybe to relax with a quick game... the downside to the 2210 was it had no true internet. It did have Bluetooth but no Wifi so any email I wrote was only sent once docked with my PC. I had to...

Advantages: Slick design, good range, long battery life, and more.. Disadvantages: None so far...
...rechargeable battery technology. Depending on the amount of usage this unit will give you six to eight hours of talk time; this is a longest any Bluetooth (rechargeable) headset with give you. Your cell phones battery will probably run out before this headset is out of juice. By the way, it takes about two hours to fully charge this baby; the blue light will turn off when it is charged.
To increase the battery life a little bit, I suggest that you close the boom (the microphone section of the headset that folds in) to turn off the headset when it is not in use. But if you usually talk a lot on your phone, this would not help at all.
THE SOUND QUALITY :
I have not personally used the HS810 but I can proudly say that the sound is crisp and clear as with the wired headsets (maybe even better). I have not experience static or any other kind...

Advantages: Very comfortable, good earpiece volume, stylish, many extras Disadvantages: None that I can find.
...damage. Flip the case over and there is a small mirror on the back - okay, not a necessity, but a nice touch and attention to detail. Inside you will find the headset, three sizes of soft ear gels, ear-loop, four small charging adapters (these adapt various mobile phone chargers to charge to the discovery, so you only need one charger for both, although the 640 does come with its own charger), charging 'pen clip' (which also allows storage in your jacket pocket in standby mode) and battery charger case for AAA battery (this allows you to boost the talk time to 15 hours and standby to 180 hours). All the above may make the case sound bulky; it isn't - it would slip in a jacket pocket.
COMFORT AND WEARABILITY
This headset is worn 'in ear' a little like the stereo ear buds that are popular with portable music players etc. Normally, I avoid...
