Advantages: Small, works well, very good looking, runs on only 1x AA battery Disadvantages: Not great for big hands, a bit too much lag for games, not terrible though

Since i have a laptop i thought i'd replace my mouse with a small wireless one and go for logitech this time. I got mine before the nano was released.

Since i have a laptop i thought i'd replace my mouse with a small wireless one and go for logitech this time. I got mine before the nano was released.
Its a good mouse overall, not so great for big hands, but its not uncomfortable, and it is a deliberately small laptop mouse in the end.
The scroll wheel has weight to it, and has 2 modes, the traditional "notched" mode where you can feel every bump as you scroll. Then it has a "free-wheel" mode which works better than i expected. You can sort of 'flick' the wheel and it'll roll for up to about 5 seconds on its own, so you can find the top and bottom of a page quickly. But it also gives you quite a lot of control, you can stop the wheel at any time etc
Theres a lot of buttons and to be honest i dont use them, the zoom and horizontal scrolling needs the logitech software installed and i dont like that, the search button brings up Explorer search or google depending on whether you are on windows or a browser. the main buttons feel good quality, they click with a normal sound, only the zoom button feels strange.
the rest of the mouse is fine, i mean it looks great! it feels ok despite my big hands, but i have to admit its hard sometimes to judge where its pointing sometimes because my fingers get lost on it.
The battery is good, ive had it for 4months or so on 1 batt, it takes 1x AA, the little receiver is about the size of a very small USB flash drive, in fact, i wish usb flash drives came in this size and shape! The receiver slots into the mouse and switches the mouse off which is neat, and ejects back out at a touch of a button, making you look flashy. There is also a power button on the bottom of the mouse if you want to do it that way.
As far as performance goes, its pretty quick, not good enough for proper gaming, ive yet to find a wireless mouse that is. But its fine for everything else.
Advantages: Size, build, shape, number of controls, battery life Disadvantages: Signal strength as a media centre mouse
...have been in favour of Logitech over Microsoft mice for a while now, it's like holding a water baloon, it's the exact shape you'd want a mouse to be (assuming your right handed!) Range seems to be an issue if your planning on using it for a media centre PC at any distance. Sometimes I have trouble at about 1 meter if line of sight is blocked. I paid about £25 from Ebuyer which is good, prices on this item seem to vary dramatically so be careful not ...

would be on a low level within a day. The Revolution MX has four distinct, new features that could very well change how we navigate through files and programs - so it just makes our lives so much more easier... Logitech goes so far as to bill the MX as "the world's most advanced mouse."
Logitech made a big splash after being the first to market a laser mouse, the MX1000. Today, Logitech makes amazing products with the release of two new high-end mice-the MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse and the VXRevolution Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks. These designs are so sleek and nifty; you just have to get one of these mice...
