It is a fantastic mouse but the product is over a year old now. it is the best and the first 'laser' mouse out there in my opion. Many other mice are opitcal and often have an annoying tendance to go off screen and suddenly move the mouse on screen. Whereas the Mx1000 glides and never struggles it is great to draw and do flash animation with. Battery life is very very good lasts for about a month and a half before it needs a charge and i use the computer everyday !.and is the ideal mouse to hold in your and the extra buttons are fantastic now with haveing them i wouldnt know what to do without them. You can even give the buttons different functions. However there are some down points it is very expesive and it does have some software bugs. The software went sudenly wrong with me, i then tried to reinstall the software from the website and it would not work i finally got it working and it is not the exact software for the device so not all of the extra buttons work.

Some revisions of Logitech drivers can be flaky but using the next one that turns up usually fixes things. Review needs more content and structure though. Welcome to Ciao and I look forward to reading more of your reviews.

I have never had no problems with mine. I have this one. Never had no bugs in the software also the software comes on a disc so how can they have bugs ? Month and a half before needing a charge ? I use mine everyday and needs charging about every 4 days. R u sure you are talking about the right mouse ? Do u actually have one ? needs more info also.
