I was very surprised when i bought these speakers, as they are great! I bought them as a cheap replacement for a pair that blew up, and they are still in use today. Although the speakers are only 4 watts each with a 9 watt subwoofer, they are fairly powerful. The sound quality from movie playback and gaming is great considering the cost.
They connect very simply just via a headphone jack, which allows playback from other devices, ... ...great on a desk and allows you to plug in a microphone (requires an additional microphone connection into the computer that is provided). The subwoofer even has a volume control for the bass meaning you can have a range from off, to full, which will shake the desk! (however this is not advised as it can shorten the life, or blow up the subwoofer). The subwoofer is small enough to fit under even the most compact desk and be hidden away.

Overall the speaker set is great for a budget pc or for a laptop. The sound quality is good, but no match for a more expensive set, the speakers look stylish and will fit into most environments.
