After buying numerous Logitech products and also having Logitech webcams in the past, I decided to buy this little beauty with my new computer around a year ago...
It stood out to me above the rest with its striking modern looks and black colour to tuck away behind the computer and not be overly noticeable... The Logitech packaging also stands out to me and they package their products very well to keep them safe..
Once opened I found it very easy to put together and then inserted the disc into my computer.. The set up guide was easy to follow as with all Logitech products and I had my camera up and running in around 10 minutes.. As soon as i fired up the camera to my friends on MSN messenger I was astounded with the great quality and clarity of the image compared to my friends webcams... Also with the camera you get a built in microphone which also works very well and my friends said they had no problem hearing me at all... The picture never distorts even with a slow down in computer or connection speed... All in all the picture and sound quality is very good indeed...
Moving the camera around is easy with the handy stand you get which sits on 3 legs... This can be bent to your needs and can also sit on top of your TFT monitor.. Also you get a flat base stand for on the normal surface.. The camera tilts in all directions and stays in the desired position when set...
I found that the software has some very good features also... One such feature is the face tracking device which once you turn it on moves the camera lens automatically to a persons face in the picture... It zooms in and lines it up and also focuses aswell so not to lose clarity in the image.. Obviously with more than one person in the viewfinder this can confuse the camera but none the less this is a very good feature.. Other standard features come with the software such as brightness, contrast, saturation etc.. and these all work very well.. I only found one problem with the software and that was with taking pictures.. I would find that sometimes the software would crash and that also the pictures wouldnt save but I am not sure if it is just my computer or not...
All in all I would definately recommend this camera with its amazing looks and awsome picture quality!..
