This CMOS optical sensor type web camera provides you with everything you would require from any web camera which is ease of use, quality video, a built-in microphone which gives you a smooth web messaging. Some info. for techies: Connectivity to your computer: via USB cable Still image: 640 x 480 pixels Platforms: Can run on WINDOWS 98/ME/XP and the min. spec. required for the PC would be min. of Pentium II processor - 400 MHz - with min. of 64 MB RAM. and the headphones should be included.
Other system requirement would be soundcard in your PC (for audio), CD-ROM Drive to install the drives and you would also require speakers for audio comms.
It should come with CD (for its drivers) if you buy it from company or retailers but if buying from someone, make sure you get the CD otherwise it would be a problem for installing the drivers. And same applies for the USB cable (cable you would require to connect with your PC) It comes with a built in microphone and a headset is included in it. It has a cool instant snapshot function which is my fav. and it lets you have your video full-screen and makes it a snap to attach videos and photos to email in simple clicks and its quality - tell me about it and works perfectly with MSN Messenger and AIM. One thing more - you would require broadband internet connection to get the optimum video quality of live face-to-face video quality. (Only good quality camera would not do the trick - you would require fast connection for instant video communications)
So before buying it make sure you get all this and have your PC meets the min. system requirements.
Costing: not very expensive - price revolves around £21-£25 mark.
