Cons:

The guys at the logitch factory seem to be churning out great products at the moment. The Logitech sphere happens to be one of them. I purchased this webcam for around £72 from amazon which may sound pricey, but several other shops are charging £100. A decent webcam would normally set you back £40-50 so the extra £30 is definetly worth it. Works with Msn messenger, windows messenger, yahoo messenger and AOL Instant messaging. Pros: Pan, tilt and zoom Integrated microphone (THAT ACTUALLY WORKS!) Can turn 180 degrees either side and 60 degress either up or down (if face tracking is on you can now throw yourself across the room) Easy instalation
Cons: Face tracking, can be good but only if you move.....reallly.....sloooowly..... , also the noise the motor makes whilst tracking can be 'slightly' annoying, eg, sometimes i want to just snap the cam in half! May have to download drivers for the 'cam at www.logitech.com
It works with windows 2000, ME, XP and Mac Os 10.1.5 Includes a 23 cm stand (not longer proping cams on monitors or desks)
Another feature that i find useful is the ability to adjust the brightness as the sun shines onto my webcam rather alot, which would consequently blind my goth friends...
Anyway, a must buy for all those avid Instant messengers.
Advantages: Probely a webcam 1st, good quality, nice zoom/tilt etc Disadvantages: Drivers are a pain, face tracking isn't as good as hoped
...easiest place is probely the Logitech website. The face tracking does work, but it does get a bit confused when another person comes in and it trys to follow them at the same time. The zoom is impressive and the movement is good. It comes with an extra stand (9 inch) which you can use to get a different view of you beaming face, it is really easy to change, just pull out the camera top and attach it to the stick. It has a little control panel that ... ...to move it and zoom and it also has a large "reset" button that makes the camera turn back to its straight on view. There is a small microphone in the base of the camera that is very good quality and is very useful on msn with voice conversations. The camera costs around £70, but it hasn't gone down in price a lot since I bought one (about a year ago). It is a good camera, but it is slightly on the expensive side so it is only good if you want a really ...

Advantages: Crystal Clear Imaging, Face tracking, Tons of features Disadvantages: Price
The first thing I will say about the Logitech AF Webcam is: This is more then a webcam!
Unfortunately with my Mrs not currently living in the same place as me and due to the fact that I knocked off and stood on my old webcam, it became time for me to buy a new one. Now my old webcam, a Logitech Zoom I bought back 4 year ago and the Camera served me very well! Now I am no worker for Logitech, nor am I biased towards them for any reason at all, but it seems that it's fair to say that they own the market when it comes to the world of Webcams.
Anyway, back to Logitech AF. Now I managed to get this for about £65, but you may pay more or less depending on where you get it from. Now I know that £65 is a lot to spend on a webcam, but for me, who uses it almost daily, I didn't feel it was so much, if of course, the camera was worth it ...
Advantages: useful, packed with features and modern design Disadvantages: size?
This, I would say, is one of the greatest webcams out there. It has loads of logitechs features (that i will talk about in a bit) but the one outstanding feature of this webcam is its amazing ability to track you, wheter up or down or left to right. This is why they call it the orbit. The stand extends if you go up which is pretty cool and it rotates to make sure it is looking right at you.
Logitech also includes their patented face tracking with avatars system. It is very fun and cool to show off to all of your friends. You can turn them on and hey! it s a dinosaur. There are hundreds of masks and avatars to choose from which can be downloaeded right form logitechs site for free. Installing them is simple. Just press run and its done in all of 1 second.
The webcam also sports a microphone on it which has noise echo filtering which ...

You've never seen anything like the unique combination of form and function of the QuickCam Sphere. It features a black, ball-shaped camera that sits atop a nine-inch-high stand at your eye level. Why? So that you'll get optimal face time during your video calls or video instant messaging (IM) sessions. And when you move, it actually follows you around! The QuickCam Sphere mechanically and automatically turns left and right for almost a 180-degree horizontal view or up and down for almost 90-degree top-to-bottom view. So your smiling face will always stay in the picture.
