To get the mouse up and running it is really easy. On the Mac, you do not need to use drivers, however if you do install them you get a little more control. Plug the little dongle in, put two AAA batteries in the mouse and connect. You are then up and running with a really nice wireless mouse. The fit of this mouse to my hand (medium size hands for me) is really comfortable. It is smaller than a full size desktop mouse, but not too much smaller. The scroll wheel is really nice, plus the back/forward extra buttons are nicely positioned. Battery life is good, I have had four months use so far on the same set. There is also an on/off switch which helps conserve battery power too, so this has probably attributed to my experience, as I always remember to turn it off.
This is a very good mouse, nice and smooth tracking and at under £30 represents great value for money.

Review of Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - mouse
Advantages: Compact, accuracte tracking, long range Disadvantages: Buttons harder to click than usual - can lead to strain
This is a good mouse, but I have found it to have some drawbacks too. Here are the main features: Nano-receiver: This is excellent. It is stored easily inside the mouse when you need to move it around and is very small on the computer too. The range is also very impressive. Battery-life: This is average to good for a cordless mouse and runs off 2xAA batteries. They can be expected to last at least 6 months on average use. Laserpointer: Very good ... ...as good as even a mid-range corded mouse. Buttons: Not as good as I had thought. The 2 main left and right buttons are just a little bit harder to press than my microsoft mouse, and after a few thousand clicks this starts to be noticeable and strain. The middle mouse button, likewise, is a bit hard to click. There are no buttons on the sides of the mouse, but the middle button does have left and right functions. In short: definitely the best cordless ...

Quick review of Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - mouse
The nano receiver works from a stupidly long distance away, not that you would want to control your pc from the other side of the house, but it just shows how good it is! I used to use a Logitech MX500 and that lasted about 6 years and was fantastic then I moved to the G5 and sold that when I bought a laptop, both of those mice took a while to get used to like the VX nano but now I can use it for any task and I wouldn't go back to the G5. Having big hands wouldn't really be much of a problem because you will learn to use this mouse differently. Perfect for laptops and perfect for gaming because its just like its bigger brothers! ...

Advantages: Portable, precision tracking Disadvantages: Expensive, too small
...people on the go! The Logitech VX Nano laser mouse is shaped for both left- and right-handed users; and comes with programmable buttons; a tiny receiver stored inside the mouse and laser tracking for precision on many surfaces.
However, it is somewhat expensive so make sure you really want this before bringing out the wallet. And some have said it is too small for people with large hands.
So if you can afford its high price, you'll be pleased by ...
