In terms of the music - they really do deliver - even when pushed. If you are a keen gamer or movie watcher - these are great as you feel like they are more that 2.1s and the bass really helps you soak up the atmosphere.

The fact that they are so easy to install and use is great. The package as a whole is big but over the last year i've had little problem lugging them around to help with informal parties in big halls to provide background music. In terms of the music - they really do deliver - even when pushed. The downsides are that the subwoofer is very big - too big if you ask some people. Also the consequence of this is you do find bass on tracks you never thought had any and maybe sometimes (if you listen to more mellow or classical stuff like I sometimes do), tracks that you don't think should have any. This might mean you have to tweak your equaliser to suit this. Also they could have done with a longer remote with more settings to tweak on it.
So all in all. Poweful, sleek, stylish, powerful, great sound quality, big, poweful, exciting, ground shaking, powerful, oh yeah and did i mention they were powerful? But seriously - if you are into your partying, music, gaming and movies like I am - you won't find anything better for the price.

...understand how much work the Logitech engineers put into designing these speakers. The workmanship oozes quality and that is reflected in their performance.
When the delivery van arrived I was surprised to see just how big the box was. On opening the box the polystyrene hides the speakers from view, but then you remove the first layer of polystyrene and the looks of these speakers hit you. Logitech have gone for a stylish, futuristic, silver-and-black ... ...the sort of thing you'd be embarrassed to have sitting on your desk. However, the subwoofer is truly huge in an effort to increase the power behind the low notes. With the bass and volume both turned up, you will know that this is a worthwhile feature. However, if you're cramped for space under your desk, these are not the speakers for you - don't believe the pictures which make it look like a smallish cube.

Advantages: Amazing Sound (highs and lows), Great Looks Disadvantages: A bit expensive, but they make up for it.
Let me put this simple, this is the best speaker system on the market hands down (at this price range at least). It sounds just beautifull, extremely defined highs and amazing potent chest pounding bass.
Ive run across many speaker systems for the PC and this one isnt even matched by the others.
For those of you who preffer 5.1 or 7.1 systems i challenge you to try this one out, you wont believe your ears. Plus with the 2.1 setup you dont get all ...

These speakers are excellent in every respect. They look stylish and sleek despite the size of the subwoofer, and deliver excellent sound at all volumes. There is a bass control in addition to the volume control, which is very useful as the bass potential of these speakers is very high, meaning ocassionally the more bass- heavy songs come across too powerful. However this is a problem easily fixed by turning the bass down a little. The subwoofer ... ...the one disadvantage in my view is the presence of several unsightly large wires. There is one power cable, two cables leading from the subwoofer to each speaker, and a cable leading to the control box which in turn leads to the computer or audio device. All in all, this is an excellent speaker system but not good for portability. ...

Advantages: Great product, Great sound, Great price Disadvantages: subwoofer is quite large, Speaker Cable is quite short.
I had been considering a speaker upgrade for a long time and have done a lot of research, as far as I could find on the net these seemed to be rated as the best 2.1 speakers for the price

I spent a long time looking for a set of speakers to use upstairs with my PC. I listen to all types of music and I'm quite fussy about sound quality, but I didn't want to spend a fortune. My first port of call was the Bose shop down the road from my house. Their 2.1 speakers sounded brilliant but i did not want to spend £200 on PC speakers. So next I went to the internet to look at what other options were around and which was the best value for money. ... ...seemed the best compromise between price and performance. For around £90 you get a large, cubic, sub woofer, two small sattelites the neccesary connecing leads and power supply, and a controll unit with which you can change the level of bass and the level of volume.
