I had been considering a speaker upgrade for a long time and have done a lot of research, as far as I could find on the net these seemed to be rated as the best 2.1 speakers for the price
My other consideration where: Harman Kardon Soundsticks II Acoustic Energy Aego M Black 2.1 Speakers Klipsch ProMedia 2.1
My speakers just arrived today
The first thing which you really notice about these is the size of the sub its MASSIVE and quite heavy. Make sure before you buy these you have room to fit a 28cm Width 38cm Depth 28cm Height Subwoofer
The kit comes with a minijack to phono adapter which is great if you want to use the system with a games console or for other AV sources. also comes with a conponent audio cable.
The speaker cables are a quite short which is a bit annoying when positioning the speakers.
Speakers are a great build quality, the wired remote is really handy with volume and bass controlls, a headphone socket and a power switch.
Overall These speakers are amazing. Anybody who loves there music should own a set of these. The sound quality is absolutely breathtaking, and no doubt will impress you every time you listen to them. The bass is seperately controlled and produces thunderous sound, depending on how loud you want to have them, and believe me, they are loud and the clarity of the sound is spot on.
