I was bought these speakers after previously owning LogitechX230 which had been subject to wear and tear. I was extremely impressed with the price vs quality of these speakers.
They are easy to set up with colour-coded cables so you can't go wrong, they're easy to plug into a headphone jack, so they're really versatile, even your iPod.
They quality of the sound is very good for the price. There is a control attached to them where you can alter the volume and also bass. On the control is also an on/off button.
I find being able to alter the bass extremely useful, especially as I have a flat and late and night I'm never sure if the bass is too loud for my neighbours!
The only problem I have with the speakers is that there are a lot of cables, this is due to the fact that there are 2 speakers attached to the subwoofer, then the cable with the remote on the end, the one that goes in the headphone jack and then one that you plug into the mains.
So there are 5 cables.
Although it's great that they are long there are a lot so if you don't like cables I'd go for some wireless speakers!
However the overall sound quality is fantastic, I haven't heard any fuzziness, white noise over my music, the bass control is brilliant. I like them as you can certainly hear the panning of the music, sometimes speakers don't provide a great deal of pan but these are set up well.
The aethetics of the speakers are great too, the ones I have are black with silver trim, and it's not a tacky silver, they do look good quality. I also like it that the on/off button has a blue led, very nice!
I think the speakers have been well thought out, they look good, sound good, are user friendly and have that little extra with having a remote!
