On the PS3, took me about 30 seconds to connect the keyboard (without using dongle), then worked brilliant. Track pad can also be used to navigate the menus as well as the arrow keys. Only issue, is sometimes when playing Resistance online, when trying to type a message, the keyboard becomes unresponsive and you can't type any messages (I assume this is a software problem, not the actual keyboard).
Took me about 5 minutes to get it connected in Ubuntu (without using dongle). Once connected though, without having to install any software (unlike Windows), the keyboard was functional, the track pad worked as well, the volume slider worked, and half of the media keys worked straight away. More of the media keys can be setup quickly under 'keyboard shortcuts'. There are a couple of media keys that are not functioning, and the horizontal scrolling on the track pad does not work, but I am looking into ways to fix these, and program the other media keys to do a different task.
The keyboard itself looks great, same sleek black design as the PS3, although this means that it attracts dust quite easily (there is a cleaning cloth, but it wasn't in my box (second hand)).
The lights on the keyboard look great, the track pad is a great design, takes a few days getting used to, you can put your finger at the point on the edge of the pad, then drag your finger in circles around the track pad to scroll.
The volume slider is great, it looks the same as the rest of the keyboard, not like a track pad, and you can drag your finger up and down to adjust volume, and a light along the side moves along with your finger.
The battery lasts a very long time, you can leave it on all the time without turning it off and the battery will last about a month (when PS3 is turned on again, touch any key to have keyboard reconnect in about one second). A full charge is meant to only take about 2 hours, and the charging stand is great, as it props your keyboard up to show it off, and is really easy to put in and out, there are no clips or anything, it just cradles the keyboard.
Overall excellent keyboard, great quality, worth the price.

...little gadget which really shows Logitech they put all their efforts into this keyboard. Included is a mouse pad, which enables you to control your cursor with this keyboard. It reacts fine, just like as if you were using the mouse pad of a laptop.
Durability.
Scratches or any other kind of damage is easily notice-able, as the main skin is crystal black. However, normal use of this keyboard should not damage the keyboard. The keys don't fall off, ... ...a week, after the emails. This shows that Logitech does indeed care about your personal opinion, and that they are willing to help you. Another strong point about this keyboard.
All in all, the keyboard is definitely worth your money, as I am sure you will love it. ...

...screams quality. For some reason, Logitech have deamed it nessasary to make the keyboard emit a been when the CAP lock button is pressed. Now this isn't a problem for most people, but like some I use the CAP key as apposed to the shift key. If little beeps at random intervalls annoy you, then this isn't the keyboard for you. I bought this keyboard about 6 months ago and was very pleased with it overall. The biggest criticism seems to be the lack of a numerical keypad on the right-hand side but you do get used to this. for me the biggest minus is the Touchpad - having to use more than one finger-stroke to cover my 24" screen and now the surface finish has worn smooth making my fingertip drag sometimes. ...

The Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard is very comfortable to write on, because it is so simple and flat. The buttons are nice and smooth and every time i write on it I feel like my fingers fly across it. I also like the shape and size because it fits my office desk perfectly.
