In 1983 fashion designer Josiane Pividal and her husband Joseph Pividal, an interior designer, created their label, "Lolita Lempicka", named in homage to Russian writer Vladimir Vladimirovich Nabokov whose novel Lolita (1955) is frequently cited as his most important work, and to the polish painter Tamara de Lempicka who was a famous painter during the art deco period. I bought Lolita Lempicka Lolita Lempicka 100ml eau de parfum not long ago after receiving Lolita Lempicka's Forbidden Flower for Christmas. I had had my eye on this perfume for a while. I was drawn to it by the pretty bottle, which I spotted while browsing cheapsmells.com. I have to admit it was a blind buy and bought it without knowing what it smells like. ~ Bottle ~ The fragrance comes in the same bottle as Forbidden Flower, which is shaped like an apple. Let us first divulge into how and why this little beauty first came into my possesssion. It was earlier this year on a blustery day I spent browsing The Perfume Shop admiring Dior's lovely Hypnotic Poison, but I wasn't admiring the extortionate price tag that dangled from it. HISTORY A few years ago, I've read about Lolita Lempicka Perfumes, and i tought, that this perfume must be something very special and romantic.... And in february, I bought this pretty one in a 30 ml flacon(1 Oz). PACKAGING Light green square box, white ornaments, golden "Lolita Lempicka" text on it. Looks really nice and romantic. BOTTLE An apple in lilac, of clear glass, with the same golden text as it is on the box. I first came across Lolita Lempicka when i received a free tester of this fragrance and i was immediatley hooked. Although a fantastic scent the real let down is that is is so hard to find in the shops. With only really big department stores such as Harrods and Selfridges stocking it. It is however very easy to buy online and you will get it a lot cheaper, i would say around £40 - £50. Buying it from a department store will set you back up to £80.
