We bought this mosesbasket as we liked the fact it was neautral in colour as we didn't know whether we were having a boy or a girl.
The mosesbasket is really cosy as it's lined with a fleecey lining and theres a lovely little hood to pull up which adds to the cosy element.
The basket comes complete with a little duvet cover although duvets are not recommended for newborns so it's a bit pointless really- looks nice but pointless!
The mattress is really good quality, it never sagged or bowed in the places where my baby's head rested unlike in her pram mattress so I was impressed with that!
What I didn't really rate about this was the fact it creaked a lot. the wickersides seemed very sensitive, just walking past it would creak and disturb our baby which was really frustrating.

Babies see bright colours or black and white patterns so really although the mosesbasket looks nice it is for our own vanity of having a neutral house and not to help our baby interact with items around her.
The basket is made from the typical wicker material of a mosesbasket and is it's natural colour. The basket is then lined with a fleecy lining which is cream. Above the basket is a hood which you can pull up which is also cream. Dangling down from the hood are 3 toys- a cream bunny, a cream teddy and a turquoise star which sings when you press it. These 3 toys are attached by velcro so can come off which is great!

Buying this basket
I chose this mosesbasket out of the hundreds out there because I happened to be in Mamas and Pappas at the time and this was the one which looked the nicest. I must admit that I'm the sort who thinks, if it's expensive it must be worth it and so I thought I would buy most of my equipment from mamas and pappas seeing as it's more expensive than mothercare etc!
I also liked this not just because of price but because it looked very cosy and sturdy. I have seen some baskets which look like they're pretty flimsy which, to me, isn't very safe for a babyw hen it's thrashing around.
Comfort
The mattress that comes with this fits very snuggly so there's no gaps at all between the edges for baby to get their fingers stuck in which is always good! I found that the mosesbasket sheets I bought fitted ...
