    This is my first Lonely Planet travel book and has totally amazed me. I was in France this summer and wouldn't have seen or done half the things I did had I not bought my Lonely Planet book. It basically planned my days for me! It suggested where I could stay for the night (and at a very reasonable price too - a bed in a hotel averages at about 11 pounds!), where I could eat meals the following day and how much for, and what I could see in all the areas I visited. The France guide is very well written and will provide me with information as I explore this large country for years to come. I ... more
