I have always used the L'Oreal Kids range and they have just released a new one called Soothing Lavender Shampoo especially made for bed times.
This is a 2 in 1 shampoo made especially for your little ones, its is very mild so it will not sting their eyes and because it is a 2 in 1 it has extra conditioners in it to keep your childs hair soft and knot free. The lavender has a calming effect that relaxes them before bed time, if your kids are anything like mine then is really is an added bonus as mine are constantly on the go, so calming them before bedtime is perfect.
~Packaging~
It comes in a 250ml easy to hold bottle and they have tried to shape the bottle into a little fishy, with a scale like pattern on one side and a little eye on one side and the bottle slopes on one edge to give the fish like shape. The bottle is lavender in colour and has an easy to open flip top for its mouth.
~How to use~
Wet hair as normal and then squeeze a small amount either straight onto their hair or onto the palm of your hand, then lather it up. I find it lathers up really well, then rinse off, my children are at the stage now where they want to do it themselves and I just have to make sure that it's all washed out.
~What do I think~
I am impressed with L'Oreal as a whole but this one is perfect it has such a lovely lavender fragrance which is very pleasant, and as my children are getting for ever more independent when they wash their hair the lather goes all over their faces but I know that it wont sting their eyes so no more tears before bed time. HOORAY. Drying and brushing their hair after it has been washed is also a pleasure now, no more knots and as my girls hair has some real curls in it at the back it really doesn't get knotty anymore, which it has done in the past using other shampoos and trying to brush it has been a real chore, but not any more. I also brought this because it has been designed to calm little ones before bedtime, so anything that helps is a must. The shampoo itself is white and I find very creamy and leaves my girls hair very soft and manageable, almost silky like and most of all it leaves their hair really clean. I also think the price is quiet reasonable, I brought mine from sainsburys for £1.89 After I have finished using the bottle and its empty I keep mine as my girls love playing with them in the bath as a pretend fish so I guess you could call it a 3 in 1.
L'Oreal kids are for children of any age; even I have used it from time to time.
Cautions for this product like most are not to be swallowed and if it does irritate the eyes rinse out with warm water straight away.
