Loren Roberts is colloquially known as the ‘boss of the moss’, this refers to the brilliant standard he consistently achieves with the putter. This year he has used that world class ability to acheive a top 5 place in the masters where he consistently holed 30 foot putts. In the current N E C Invitational where Tiger Woods leads by an obscene number of shots Loren sits at 8 under par just inside the top 10 which is a reflection on his excellent year. A player who will consistently amaze on the greens.
...Franklin Langham’s most pertinent statistic is that he leads the putting averages this year ahead of such brilliant putters such as Phil Mickleson and LorenRoberts second and third respectively. He has not yet acheived a breakthrough win but has had a fair few top five finishes and looks set to build on these solid performances and eventually make his debut win. Straight off the tee but not amazingly long he makes up for any long game deficiencies with a prodigous short game and an immaculate putting touch. One to watch....
