I recently bought Lost Odyssey for my partner, well it was for both of us really as I really wanted to watch him play it. Overall I think this is a fantastic game. The graphics are as you would expect, awesome, the scenes are nearly always beautiful and the levels are all pretty huge and well layed out. The characters are all very good, especially Janson who adds a little humour to the story, whereas Kaim (the main man) is very serious but the fact that he is so hardcore makes him an awesome character aswell.
The thing that has impressed me most is the size of the game, it is spread over 4 discs, just imagine how much they can fit on one disc let alone 4. The levels are all massive, and are sometimes quite easy to get lost in. The story is pretty long, we have got 40hours of gameplay in so far with no hint of the end.
Another thing that i think is really cool, is when you get in a battle, the graphics stay the same and most of the monsters you fight look very cool.
Overall I am very impressed, if you enjoy the Final Fantasy games then you will love this, as they are very similar.
