Advantages Best drivers car on the road for under 30 grand
Disadvantages Real pain in the proverbial to get in and out of
The closest thing you'll get to a road legal go-cart!
Lovely lovely lovely car, unfortunately it is absolutely impossible to get into if you'r over midget height! The point is this, the door sill is 20 cm off the ground, the roof is at 50cm....get the point, climbing into this car with the roof on you need to be like Bo and Luke Duke, this is a seriously small car.
That being said! My colleague bought one of these at the weekend and we tok it out for a spin at lunchtime (with the top off!) i'm pretty tall but you do sit quite snugly, there is a great place to put your fags on the dash...which is about the only storage you get...oooh yeah thers the (ahem) boot , about 50 cm3 right next to the engine....probably the only car with a built in cooker! The impression is very very minimalist which to me is a bit of a turn-off....i like my creature comforts like aircon, elec windows, steering wheel (joke!).
Riding in it this is the nearest you may well come to a street legal go-cart, the manual steering turns the car precisely where you put it, the car corners like a dream but you really do have to keep the power on when cornering or the back will drift. It must be mentioned that this car is designed really for windy country roads where you don't (usually) get higher than 110mph so thats where the grunt is, take it over that on a motorway (a German one of course!!!) and you'll be disappointed, this car is NOT a high speed cruiser, it's a fun go-cart for people wholm the driving experience is paramount.
My colleague bought his for less than 20k, 17,000 on the clock and a couple of years old...if you got the money, don't have kids and are over 25 (insurance!!) then go on spoil yourself!!!

I have to disagree with one or two things in the review - being over 6' is not an issue, I'm 6'4" and fit the car - it is tight I'll grant you however the view down the road is fine (traffic lights present a little issue with some comical craning however I'll pass over that). I find it pretty comfortable - so far done 4h non stop in it with about the same level of shoulder ache as I would expect in my normal car. Getting is is very simple - as a driver - left leg in, fall in. Getting OUT - ah now that is something that I have yet to master and look cool doing :) Other than that - good review, thanks.
