Although the Lotus SS (SmartSuite) package is appealing to the less computerly educated user, to the normal user, the services Lotus offer in the SS package just can't keep up with MS Office. The office suite although containing the same, lacks the cutting edge a business needs with an office package. Both the spreadsheet and the database lack the power and advancitivity that MS Access and MS Excel offer. Also the word processing package also needs a lot of inprovement if it is going to keep up with MS Word. The only up this has on MS Offiec is that interactivity between applications is better than that of MS Office.
