Advantages: Excellent set of speakers Disadvantages: None
Bought these speakers over a year ago and I have had no problems with them, they are still going strong. Extremely good quality no matter what sound you put through them. I don't think I could live with anything less than these speakers now, the upmix is awesome the bass is thundering and the sattelites are extremely well made. Make sure you have room to keep the bass atleast 30cm away from your computer as the magnet in the bass could wipe your ......These speakers are a lot more expensive than other speakers but are still worth the money you will not be dissapointed with these but I would recommend having a 5.1 compatible sound card instead of using the speakers upmix function, it gives a much better quality sound. Perfect for any home cinema system. ... Read review
Advantages: Look great, sound better Disadvantages: Only play as low as 50Hz
I have the white pair, and i'll start from where i started at choosing these, they look great don't they? the alloyish trim over the speaker and curvy body really is attractive. The volume is controled by a touch sensitive receptor on the right speaker, which doesn't ever stop working. Aside from the looks they also sound great the two small sattelites(speakers) give out superb high frequency sound, very clear, very crisp. Now to get that full rich ......of the same design and looking great has two knobs which control bass, and treble for the whole system which is a handy and useful touch (not only decorative). The sub though does add the warm sound of bass to your music and it does this very well, the sound is not rattled, or distorted as you may find from many cheap subs. However where i was disappointed was its frequency range only playing as low as 50Hz, the human ear can here as low as 20Hz, ... Read review
Advantages: Adapter for use with 360 / DVD player, good sound quality, good bass. Disadvantages: Bass could go a little lighter, I dont think it supports optical
I was looking for some speakers for my Xbox 360. These fitted in perfectly. They are designed for use with a PC, but comes with an adapter to plug in the sound from your Xbox 360 or DVD player or whatever device you are using with RGB cables. This is a great 5.1 surround sound system which includes 5 speakers and a subwoofer. I am very happy with these, paying around £30 for them on Amazon. They produce excellent quality sound, with strong bass. ......normally have it on the lower levels. The sound is very good on my action and driving games - you will be pleased! The cables were long enough for my bedroom, but may be slightly too short if you wanted to use it in your sitting rom. The only disadvantage is that if you leave them on, for a period of time on very quietly it begins picking up radio! ... Read review
Advantages: good sound, very cheap Disadvantages: Kind of big
On first purchasing these speakers, I was a little unsure what to expect due to the price I was paying (£15 from Play.com). I knew, by the fact they were made by Logitech, that they wouldn't be your usually cheap rubbish, and so I decided to click pay, and pay. On arrival, I couldn't wait to get the box open... with my first concern being... "Wow their big". First sights were not a problem, as it was mainly the sound I bought them for... which ......could be paying much, much more for another set with an equivalent specification). Their size isn't really a big problem either (9.5" x 3.9" x 4.9" (H x W x D) fitting nicely on my desk, for use with my computer and iPod. One of the speakers contains a volume control, a headphone port, an input port (for connecting an iPod or CD player, although I tend to use the actual speaker cable) and finally a tone control. I find this particular control useless, ... Read review
Advantages: very good sound quality and power, feature rich, good looking, no need of a sound card Disadvantages: slightly expensive, however well worth the money
After a few months of using these speakers, I can say they are excellent. Feature rich, great looking, amazing sound quality and good value for money. When buying these speakers I looked at several options, notably the creative t-20. However the Logitech's come out far above any of the others that I tested. The first thing to strike me was the looks; they are very sleek, well proportioned. The glossy black finish giving a sophisticated and modern ......excellent, having deep rich bass and good strong, lower and upper ranges. These speakers have not fallen short on anything that I have played on them as well as films and games. Although they are not as powerful as they could be at 30w they have a sound that will easily fill the whole house with great quality. When listening to songs on these speakers, I have notices several parts to music that I never knew existed. These speakers stand out in their ... Read review
