The Wharfedale is crowned new king of the budget market
Advantages: Impressive bass extension, depth and spaciousness Disadvantages: Perhaps it is not as lively as some speakers
...point in the arsenal of Wharfedale speakers but it's notable just how clear the notes are and thus just what a difference it makes to the overall listening experience. The icing on the cake is the treble which despite the volume, remains neutral and thus integrated to the rest of the sound. So if you are a fan of slow music or classical, you are bound to revel in this and for those who like their music, faster and harder, the bass extension and detail ... ...market remains fiercely competitive and Wharfedale have really been forced to up the ante in terms of sound quality to compete with Monitor Audio, but it's clear that they have now set the standard for others to follow. I would highly recommend these speakers and honestly see little to fault them on. If we are comparing like for like, then perhaps the BR2's retain a certain more excitement to the music which might be welcomed in some genres. However ...

"Hei neighbor, turn the volume down"
Advantages: Realistic SRS sound, Dolby surround mode, awesome memories. Disadvantages: The sabwoofer is really big, no remote
I have visited My friend's house a couple of times and the only question I had to ask is "Are we going to be watching any movies" - he is an owner of this subwoofer set and the sound will impress even a deaf man. The bass was so clear and hard the juice in my glass got a form of radio waves. SRS (Surround System) function created a realistic aquatics effect and with a Dolby surround mode on - even your neighbor will come with pop corn.
This set ...

Great sound, great price!
Advantages: Top sound quality, physical design, optional subwoofer Disadvantages: None as yet!
A fantastic speaker! I use two of these mainly for my band and have found them to sound exceptional for the price. They have a really wide dispersion meaning that everyone in the room can hear the highs, as well as the lows, which believe me are not lacking from what you may thing is a small 12" speaker. I have also used the SRM450s as floor monitors at other events, thanks to their wedge design when layed on their side.
The SRM450 is fairly weighty, ... ...own. The speaker has multiple carrying points and even flying points! One think to watch for is that the XLR inputs are not locking. If using as a floor wedge then loop the input cable around the handle to make sure that it doesn't get pulled out if someone catches a cable on their foot.
Picked mine up from gak.co.uk with two black tripod stands, two Rockbag protective carry bags and two 6m XLR cables for £808 delivered. Much more value than similar ...

Brilliant Bargain Bookshelf speakers
Advantages: Bass is deep and detailed, terrific presence, lively and engaging Disadvantages: Mid range could be more open
Before I bought these speakers I was somewhat new to the hi fi scene having only listened to a few systems and certainly hadn't heard of this particular manufacturer. All of that changed when a friend of mine took the plunge into hi fi speakers and demoed these speakers along with four other pairs including MA, B&W and Wharfedale. After a long listening decision it was obvious they were outstanding and my friend quickly snapped them up without a ... ...was suddenly able to truly enjoy my speakers as opposed to liking the vocal range of my previous speakers but never feeling truly happy with other aspects of the sound.. The first thing that strikes you about these speakers visually is their design, it's very attractive and belies their price tag. However where these speakers really shine is in their sonic performance across all genre ranges; from rock to rap, to reggae to dance and indeed classical. ...

HQ won't let you stop the music
Advantages: Good sound for a home studio or just to entertain yourself. Disadvantages: The treble and base are combined in one speaker (it's better when they are on the separate ones)
These are very good speakers for producing music.
The quality impressed me so much that I even wanted to buy 2 pairs of them, but my budget did not allowed me.
Ok, the base speaker can hold some really rough sound but for the pure base I suggest to buy a subwoofer separately.
High, pitches and Treble sounds are pretty impressive even if you listen to them on while staying 15m away from them. Unlike the house music system speakers, these will not ... ...The material that is used to hold the middle part of the base speaker is a high quality rubber which can stay long years without drying out. This would be enough for the home studio or just to entertain yourself.
As for the rest of the stuff... I'll say it's a matter of your decision. (I like it) ...
