Great sound, great price!

Advantages: Top sound quality, physical design, optional subwoofer
Disadvantages: None as yet!

A fantastic speaker! I use two of these mainly for my band and have found them to sound exceptional for the price. They have a really wide dispersion meaning that everyone in the room can hear the highs, as well as the lows, which believe me are not lacki ...

SRM450 - Right on the money

Advantages: Very versitile, sounds good
Disadvantages: Some may find it heavy

The Mackie SRM450 is an extremely versatile speaker. It has the advantage of built in amplifiers, together with thermal and overload protection. I run a hire firm, pa2hire.co.uk, and we like these for several reasons - for one, they are difficult to dam ...

Excellent to my non-expert ears

Advantages: Clear and distinct; very bright sound; great for classical music
Disadvantages: Maybe too good for pop and rock music?

I was very impressed with these speakers, although should point out that I'm far from an audio expert. But the sound was extremely clear and well-defined, which is all I wanted (my previous speakers, Q Acoustics 1010s, were slightly muddy and indistinct). ...
