just one word - PERFECT Advantages: heavy bass and loud enough Disadvantages: no cons I have been using these speakers for an year. They are wonderful. I feel, the speakers and others from jamo, are leaders in music industry. I have been using it with denon amplifiler, and just one word for them , they r Perfect. Crystal clear sound, tremondous bass and treble, with nice mid range. They have side firing sub woofers which create a good heavy bass. This system is all about energy. Small Speakers, Small Sound Advantages: Small, lightweight, can be used with any mp3 player Disadvantages: Sound quality isn't great - speakers not very powerful ...Morrisons. They were selling these JVC SP-A220 speaker sets for £9.99. My daughter was with me and liked the fact you could indulge in a little colour change with the sets, so I duly bought her one. The Speakers The speakers are not for those who want high quality sound - I have to state that from the off. They are, however, good for children or if you want to listen to music on the go as they are fully battery powered, taking 2 AAA batteries. ... ...the player to the speaker via the headphone jack, making them pretty universal. The mp3 player does not, however have a place to sit flush on the speakers. They are small and lightweight - measuring just over 6 inches in length. Excellent Sound Quality Advantages: Excellent Sound Quality Disadvantages: Weak Design I've had these speakers for over a month now and am very happy with them. The sound quality is superb and has just the right mix of Treble and Bass which I find is a major drawback in most cheaper Ipod speakers. I host a large amount of party's in my house and finding speakers which are able to go to a high volume without depleting in sound quality has been a difficult task for me. I shopped around on Google for a while and found a good deal on these ... ...bit too much for these speakers but the internet does host some great deals. The only criticism I do have with the speakers id the design is a bit flimsy. After just a month the docking station has already come slightly loose and I've only moved it around once or twice. Wharfedale are sonically superb Advantages: Open expansive sound, tight and punchy, can site close to walls Disadvantages: Lacks the power of some speakers but given the price this isn't an issue The Wharfedale 9.1 has now been eclipsed by the new series 10.1. However this is by no means a reason to overlook this speaker and instead it offers the potential of picking this up at a bargain price. This is indeed what dealers are now looking to do in their bid to offload the speaker. The speakers while certainly not unattractive, are not the most stylish however this is only an observation and not a fundamental issue as far as I am concerned. ... ...definitely need to site them on speaker stands to ensure that the bass is tight and punchy. Thankfully if space is limited and despite the fact that these are rear ported, these can be situated near a back wall while avoiding the kind of boom which can go hand in hand with such positioning. B&W Speakers are the tops Advantages: Sound quality and looks. Disadvantages: Maybe would be better as wireless. Having watched B&W gain in popularity over many years (I remember when they started), This model is something else. Passive speakers are my choice and need to be used properly, Not for the head bangers, moreb for the person who appreciates quaily music and therefore, quaility equipment. Connection is no problem, although wireless would be nice. However, they look great and deliver on all aspects.
