Great sound, great price! Advantages: Top sound quality, physical design, optional subwoofer Disadvantages: None as yet! A fantastic speaker! I use two of these mainly for my band and have found them to sound exceptional for the price. They have a really wide dispersion meaning that everyone in the room can hear the highs, as well as the lows, which believe me are not lacking from what you may thing is a small 12" speaker. I have also used the SRM450s as floor monitors at other events, thanks to their wedge design when layed on their side. The SRM450 is fairly weighty, ... ...own. The speaker has multiple carrying points and even flying points! One think to watch for is that the XLR inputs are not locking. If using as a floor wedge then loop the input cable around the handle to make sure that it doesn't get pulled out if someone catches a cable on their foot. Picked mine up from gak.co.uk with two black tripod stands, two Rockbag protective carry bags and two 6m XLR cables for £808 delivered. Much more value than similar ... Mackie Breeding Miracles Advantages: Linear, clear sound. No vents!!! Calibrating switches. Disadvantages: If anyone can find one... let me know please! The first ever Active Mackie HR624 to come out was pretty much the most precise near field monitor that you could get for its kind of price. In this review I will not concentrate so much on each individual feature, as all have worked brilliantly for me. You can find the list in the specs sheet if you're not lazy. Arcus TC-60 Detailed and natural mid, crystal clear treble Advantages: Powerfull bass without annoying "boom noise". Detailed and natural mid & crystal clear high Disadvantages: None. Arcus TC-60 is a 3 way 3 drivers, bi-wirable speaker with gold plated sturdy binding posts. Like all German made products, I find it a seriously product when I first saw it. It delivers a superb clarity of sound in all frequencies, with very high transparencies in mid range. The bass driver can produce a powerful low bass but not excessive. Small Speakers, Small Sound Advantages: Small, lightweight, can be used with any mp3 player Disadvantages: Sound quality isn't great - speakers not very powerful ...Morrisons. They were selling these JVC SP-A220 speaker sets for £9.99. My daughter was with me and liked the fact you could indulge in a little colour change with the sets, so I duly bought her one. The Speakers The speakers are not for those who want high quality sound - I have to state that from the off. They are, however, good for children or if you want to listen to music on the go as they are fully battery powered, taking 2 AAA batteries. ... ...the player to the speaker via the headphone jack, making them pretty universal. The mp3 player does not, however have a place to sit flush on the speakers. They are small and lightweight - measuring just over 6 inches in length. The speakers are made from silver coloured plastic, and you can change the colour tab in the middle using one of several they provide, including black, orange and red.
