Advantages: Fantastic bass Disadvantages: Can't really think of any!
I picked up a pair of these speakers in black from a local hifi store. I paid £170 for them, which was a great price.
As soon as I got them wired up I knew I had done well. They produce great bass through my entire music colelction. There is a reflex port at the top on the back, but this can be plugged with the supplied foam pads.
They are bi-wireable with good strong binding posts at the back, supporting banana plugs.
I don't really want to go ... ...any other true experts may be able to pull apart what I say. But I think anyone would agree that they look amazing (both with the grills on and off), so if you can get hold of some at a good price like I did, get them. They will do a good hifi a great deal of justice. ...

Review of Mission M 33 I
Advantages: Quality sound at a budget price Disadvantages: Must be placed away from rear wall
...auditioned several packages and selected Mission M31i's to partner my Denon DF101 system. I have been delighted with the choice. Mounted on Mission Stancette stands and connected to my DF101 with Supra Rondo biwire cable, these speakers give a full, rich and detailed sound, with suprisingly good bass performance for the compact size. They also look very smart. I have the beech finish but others are available. The only disadvantages is that as the ...
Advantages: Small, biwire terminals, great looks Disadvantages: none
I had the time to audition these at my local hi-fi shop, I was more driven by curiousity than anything else since the price is fair and magazines rated them good.
Amplifier used: Denon DM31 with a thick set of monster cables.
Wow! was I impressed or what? I haven't spend enough time with them to tell about stereo imigeing and placement but one thing is for sure they sound awesome from the word go. Lows are quite deep(for a spaeker this size) and ... ...even with heavy rock music they gave no hint of struggling. Highs are detailed and sweet for a speaker in this class.
Final thought:
Exellent budget speakers that sounds bigger and louder than what they look and should be on anyone's shortlist who's on the lookout for small musical speakers. ...

Review of Mission M 31
I've had these speakers for over a month now and am very happy with them. The sound quality is superb and has just the right mix of Treble and Bass which I find is a major drawback in most cheaper Ipod speakers. I host a large amount of party's in my house and finding speakers which are able to go to a high volume without depleting in sound quality has been a difficult task for me. I shopped around on Google for a while and found a good deal on these ... ...bit too much for these speakers but the internet does host some great deals. The only criticism I do have with the speakers id the design is a bit flimsy. After just a month the docking station has already come slightly loose and I've only moved it around once or twice. I greatly recommend these speakers to anyone but do watch out for the loose docking station. ...
Advantages: Open expansive sound, tight and punchy, can site close to walls Disadvantages: Lacks the power of some speakers but given the price this isn't an issue
The Wharfedale 9.1 has now been eclipsed by the new series 10.1. However this is by no means a reason to overlook this speaker and instead it offers the potential of picking this up at a bargain price. This is indeed what dealers are now looking to do in their bid to offload the speaker. The speakers while certainly not unattractive, are not the most stylish however this is only an observation and not a fundamental issue as far as I am concerned. ... ...definitely need to site them on speaker stands to ensure that the bass is tight and punchy. Thankfully if space is limited and despite the fact that these are rear ported, these can be situated near a back wall while avoiding the kind of boom which can go hand in hand with such positioning. This is going to be particularly useful in small rooms and provides some much needed flexibility The speakers present a clear open sound which makes them the ...
