I got these at Currys as I needed a basic set of speakers for an old Panasonic amplifier I found. Getting them out of the box, they immediately felt a lot heavier than I expected for the money, and felt well-built and sturdy. Not bad at all, I thought. ...helping to provide a full and clear treble band, and a 100mm woofer provides a lot of low-end thump. Don't let the size put you off - these miniature wonders can thump tunes out like there's no tomorrow. The 60w power figure isn't exactly generous either - I whacked these on full for hours on end, nearly bringing the house down, with no ill effects. These speakers know how to go loud! Disadvantages: no direct link ipod to computer, cannot control speakers on unit itself (need remote)

Loving to listen to my ipod on the one hand, but also wanting to be free from having earphones falling out every ten seconds or having to take them out to hear people talk to me, I invested in these speakers, and I was not disappointed. It is a small, compact single unit which sits on myself in front of my books, taking up almost no space. The speaker quality from my experience is excellent - it can go much louder than I have ever needed in my busy ...
...the remote control, which means that I can adjust volume on a new song, or pause it when I want to leave the room, without going all the way to the speakers. Two other things I like about it are that you can use it without a power cable for a certain amount of time and also, you can connect your CD or (if you even remember what they are!) tape player. ...the new verson of the kef KHT 3005 whats known as the SE version(we used to have the old model). The new version is a vast improvement on the old model with the addition of the new tangerine tweeter. Power handling also seems to have improved. Hi, I own these speakers for a one year now, they are great. I've got them in beech wood colour. They use two way speaker system. Their size is bit specific, they are wide as standard stand speakers but they are very deep(front to back). They perform well, any music which you throw at them. They can play very loudly and basses even at high volume are very strong. 120W sinus power is enough for medium sized rooms. Their sound spectrum is starting ...
...like the design simplicity of them. You also get bi-wiring option so if you have bi-wire amplifier or if you use bi-wiring you will get better results compared to normal wiring. It has got baffle at the back so you will not see anything disturbing in the fromt. The JBL on tour speakers are average, at the most. For their high cost, you wouldn't expect some of the severe design flaws present in it. The audio quality is relatively good considering it's size, and the maximum volume is very high, albeit containing sizable amounts of distortion on the higher volume settings. Of the desing flaws, there are many. Some are: Not including a "turn off/on" option, instead giving the user some not-so-obvious ways ...
...impossible to actually close the JBL On Tour speakers because the end of the cable is deliberately in the way of the shutting mechanism, which is also a not so obvious way of turning the thing off. If I wanted to turn something off for later use, closing the lid over without officially switching the thing off would make me assume that the speakers are still on.
