Advantages: Comfy, Easy to access, feels well built and good design and price.
Disadvantages: Perhaps a bit small, on mine the all wather cover doesnt entirely cover the bag.

The Nova 3 AW is a nicely built bag that has a quality feel to it. The bag is composed off 3 main sections: The front pocket; where i keep a couple of filters and my cards, is quite snug but has plenty of little pockets in side to slip away those cards and lens caps etc, its well padded, with protection coming from the 'all-weather' (AW) cover located in a little pocket just in front it. The main compartment isnt very spacious, its not going to hold any more than, the camera body and lens attached, with two lenses either side, or a body, flash and a lens. Its pretty well padded with two dividers that are reposistionable. The main compartment also has a weather proof zipped compartment on the roof, which will just about keep a big filter, cloth and variosu other little things in. Review of Lowepro Nova 3 AW Semi-hard case Camera

Waterproof protection for cameras.

Advantages: Well made protection.
Disadvantages: Can be fiddly to access.

This is a compact camera case but capacious. I have used it for both a slr like digital camera (panasonic fz10) and also a film slr fitted with a wide angle lens but will take an slr fitted with a small zoom such as a 28-80mm. If you have a larger zoom you would require a bag such as there toploader zoom bag which i also have (TLZ). It features a pocket on the flap, 2 netting pockets on either side of the bag, a internal pocket under the flap, the main section housing the camera also has another pocket. All these pockets are large enough to hold a variety of objects such as spare batteries, film, memory cards etc. There is a handle on the top of the bag, a shoulder strap and also 2 belt loops so it can be transported by any of these methods. The perfect backpackers camera

Advantages: Small enough to fit into your pocket but with a powerful zoom!
Disadvantages: must use specific battery

I purchased the original DMC-TZ1 when it first came onto the market a few years back and thought it was a great camera. But this one is even better! The 9.1mp makes for a good clear shot and the 12x optical zoom is amazing! Its the perfect camera for travelling - it can fit into your pocket or a going out bag ensuring you always have a camera to capture every moment. The zoom is the perfect added bonus. The only downside as I see it is the battery must be a specific type which isnt compatable with many other cameras. Having said that the battery is good quality and lasts for ages once charged. Because the battery is so specific to purchase a spare (which I would recommend for anyone travelling) isnt the cheapest. ...
