Something for nothing - who can refuse!

Advantages: Double points this month
Disadvantages: None

Tesco Clubcard If you are unsure what this is, it is basically a loyalty card which allows you to earn points for the purchases that you buy. These points then accumulate and you can then redeem them for rewards (much like Dooyoo miles actually!) During November, Tesco are offering double clubcard points which amounts to 2 for every £1 that you spend. This is great as it means that you can do some early Christmas shopping and also earn extra points ...
...I like shopping in Tesco anyway, I find that they sell a decent range of goods and at reasonable prices. The fact that I get points back to redeem is just an added extra since I would be using the shops anyway. There is also a really great range of things to redeem the points for and it feels like a treat when you do. You can also have family members on your clubcard so that they can also accumulate points on your account. Definitely recommend this ...

Nectar Card

Advantages: Lots of retailers to collect with
Disadvantages: Online points may not equal amount of cashback available elsewhere

The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting! Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at ...
...hand with you managing your nectar account. By registering with this website with your nectar card you can view your total points as well as earn nectar points shopping online. This is similar to the way a cashback website works for those of you familiar with such sites. The basic premise is that you first visit nectar.com, click through to the online site you want to shop at and then you shop as usual but earn nectar points on your total spend. ...

Advantage = free treats for you

Advantages: can get points on top up cards, good to treat yourself
Disadvantages: seems slow to build up

Like many stores Boots offers a reward card, theirs is called Boots Advantage Card. Mine is a white colour with the blue Boots logo in the middle - like the one pictured above. Boots claims to be one of the most generous reward cards out there at 4 points per £1 spent. I don't know if this is true but it does sound good! Points are earned when spending in store and also online. In the larger Boots stores you can find Advantage Card machines, whereby ...
...earn points when you buy a top up voucher - I earnt lots of points this way in the past. Unless you shop in Boots regularly then your points may take a while to build up. I do however enjoy treating myself to things when spending my points! ...

Diamond review  ~~ Checking In After The Checkout  ~~

Advantages: Rewarded for doing Your Shopping
Disadvantages: Can be time consuming, online gift catalogue difficult to navigate.

...of A C Nielson – Fact Finders. I received an email invitation from Toluna at the beginning of November 2008, and after answering a few questions on my shopping habits, family members etc.. I was informed that I had qualified should I wish to do so, to become a panel member for fact finders, which would involve scanning the items I bought on each shopping trip. An email arrived a couple of days later from A C Nielson asking me to complete another ...
...information is sent to the Fact Finders Office via your telephone line once a week. It all seemed very simple and straight forward but there is a bit more to it than JUST SCANNING the barcodes, I will of course explain in more detail later. You are awarded points each month which can then be exchanged for goods.  WHO ARE A C NIELSON  The company was established in America back in 1923 by Arthur C Nielson Snr. Get money back from your shopping!!!

Advantages: Lots
Disadvantages: You can only spend the rewards at co-op

...receipt, at least at the co-op I go to, you can bring your receipt and card back and they will put the points on for you. Ease of Registration Very easy to apply for, just pick up a form in your local co-op, fill it out and send it off. and there you go. The card only costs a pound so well worth it as you will re-make this very quickly indeed. 5/5 Speed of accumulation Fairly fast. You get 1p per every pound you spend on most ...
...is walk down to a co-op and spend them. The only thing that I will add here is that you cannot get change on the vouchers so you have to spend the full ammount of loose out. 4/5 Success in retaining brand loyalty Fairly succesful, I shop at co-op a lot more since recieving this card and obviously you can only spend the vouchers at a co-op so you have to spend them there. 4/5 ...
